This video, specifically the part about finding your market, has been the single biggest help in increasing my sales. I was selling to the right crowd, but my service wasnt something anyone needed, and I didnt make them feel like they needed it. Just implementing this one bit to my sales, increased them by 3x.

@@Adrian24LT It has to do with window cleaning, unfortunately I can’t be good specific, but having multiple benefits to your product can make a huge difference. Such as offering a simple clean up of your entire house, along with benefits such as a deep clean for their car, or gutter cleaning can make even high prices seem reasonable

Its brutal and distasteful job but you know people do want to spend money and you’re there to help them spend as much as possible…..but so glad to not have to do that anymore. It took me a couple years to take no for an answer. It didn’t make me a better person… you’re just a informed middleman….sucks I’m glad I did it so it doesnt get done to me!

Fantastic book that I've finally prioritized to read, in preparation of making a business proposal that I have deep desires for making it work. I've read the first volume in a short time span of a few hours while listening along with the audio (I used youtube). I've came back to this video where I was first introduced to the book to get another reviewal from a different source so it can stick better. It's definitely some core things to know for anyone new to business and entrepreneurship.

00:00 Creating a differentiated product is crucial to avoid price competition and commoditization. By offering unique value, customers are forced to consider the product's worth rather than just its price. 05:02 Selecting a market with pain, purchasing power, easy targeting, and growth is crucial. Niche markets increase product uniqueness and profitability. 10:06 Differentiating between price and value is essential for creating successful offers. Premium prices can result in higher client investment and improved business quality. 15:10 Consumers pay not just with money but also with effort and sacrifice, influencing their perception of value. Psychological solutions offer cost-effective and impactful value creation compared to logical solutions. 20:13 Creating solutions involves identifying problems, selecting solutions, and categorizing them based on cost and value to ensure practicality and effectiveness in business operations.

Excellent video and you had a minor typo around 17 min when talking about logical solutions, the header read psychological solutions. Sales is absolutely a critical life skill and if we do not become better at it, we will struggle personally and professionally. But it must be ethical sales that provide greater value than it takes. If you become an influencer that can significantly change people's lives for the better, then I do believe wealth will come knocking at your door 🙏

Don’t agree on the pricing part. Charging high prices will increase profit margin, but target a very small group; less money in the long term. For example, compare Toyota with Lamborghini. Toyota made over 250 billion dollars in revenue in 2023, Lamborghini made less than 3 billion. Lamborghini has much higher value, status and price but only a very few selection of people can afford it. Everything else I agree with Alex Hormozi though.
@liv7680
@liv7680 10 ай бұрын
yes, one produces millions of vehicles per year, the other just 10k. toyota has factories around the world, lambo just one. Your comparison doesnt work here because you arent comparing 2 equally sized business. its like comparing ikea with a fine furniture designer who sells just a few beautiful exotic hand crafted items per month
@McFlashh
@McFlashh 10 ай бұрын
@@liv7680 There’s a reason why Toyota produces more cars and has more factories. My point is that, because they charge lower prices they target a much larger customer base hence make more sales. It’s the same strategies supermarkets use. It’s not rocket science.
@DrMidnight-oz1rk
@DrMidnight-oz1rk 7 ай бұрын
Volume beats high prices. But if you differentiate your product, you can charge more because there's no comparison. You're smarter so you target your customers and don't waste time with people who can't afford.
@McFlashh
@McFlashh 7 ай бұрын
@@DrMidnight-oz1rk Yeah if you have a differentiated product you can charge more, but still you can’t charge extortionate rates. You still have to target the general public as that’s how you’ll get most volume and money. For example, Apple has a differentiated product, their own software and operating system however Samsung prices their phones more than Apple.
@DrMidnight-oz1rk
@DrMidnight-oz1rk 7 ай бұрын
@@McFlashh true but the profit might be a lot higher and if you market to your potential customers specifically if they do on-line banking or if they wanna link their phone with other devices then Apple would be their no choice and they pay the different when you point out the benefits. It's an example of market shares.
