Love this!! I completely understand getting in a cooking rut. I joined Kelsey Nixon’s recipe club a couple of years ago and I absolutely love it. She does amazing “take out” type meals with ingredients that are easy to find at any grocery store and the recipes are fast for weeknight. Love them. My boys love them too❤

Love your dodgy bags. I'm on a 6 week holiday through Canada and Alaska at the moment, so I can't join in this year 😢. When I get home, I want to finish one I started for last years make along that I'm making with EPP hexagons. I love watching your content on both of your channels, and I've been binge watching in the last day to catch up on what I've missed in the last 3 weeks. Take care xxx

Another wonderfully chaotic podcast which i absolutely love! You've reminded me of some cross stitch bags i made a while back too so I'll have to make some more, I too have the urge to cross stitch again 😅 ive also added rhe hexie blanket and the chickens to my favourites on etsy as well, will be great for using up leftovers or finally putting my mini skein stash to use! Having started to unpack in scotland this week i appear to have quite the selection it would seem... and yes to IKEA fabric dodgy bags too, they're awesome!!! I cannot wait to get back to sewing once my room is sorted, very much looking forward to making all the things again x Oh and I found something whilst packing that I think you might actually love 😅 I can't remember if you sent me your address though, please do so and I will pop it in the post to you ASAP xx

Chickens, I’ve never separated chickens when introducing new ones, I just introduce the new ones into their house at dusk, lock them all in together and in the morning, they are ok with each other. Yes, there will be a shuffling of who’s in charge, but never had an issue.
@julierogers11554 ай бұрын
Really?! Can you introduce younger chickens (smaller in size) to adults that way too?

I’m so pleased that you’ve made such great progress with your Attenborough stitch! Unfortunately the kits were discontinued at the start of this year, but the pattern is still available to buy and I’m always happy to suggest suppliers for the aida, threads etc 😊

I am so glad the pattern is still available as I have LOVED stitching it. I have finished it so will share it next time - I have even framed the little print that came with it - who even am I with being so organised?! 😅 I am now going to stitch one of your free patterns from a while ago (the Trust one) xx

Love the bonkers bags and adore the little one with handles. Could you please, please do a tutorial for it when you have the time? I’ve got your drawstring pattern cut out from your tutorials and will be making some very, very soon. I tend to give my bags away as absolutely none have sold in my Etsy store. I need to get myself out there more! I’m currently making a Cath Kidston House cross stitch picture from the Stitch book. So many lovely projects in there. By the way - if you’re interested in how to do running stitch and in fact everything hand stitching pop over to Sarah Homfray’s YT channel. She is an excellent teacher and I have learnt so much from her. You will love slow stitching. I’m going to make some and turn into bags like the one you were sent. Thank you for all the inspiration and hope the chickens are all getting along now. X.

I had 3 rescue chickens last year and added them into the six hens in my pen. I put them into the coop after dark. They were such pathetic creatures, hardly any feathers. Next few days there was a bit of pecking order sorting but they soon became one flock. Still happily all together, all fat and feathery and laying well.
@LittleDropsofWonderful4 ай бұрын
As this is so wonderful to hear! We’re going to start properly integrating them now, they sleep in coop together no problem and they’re out together in the garden every day - there’s much bullying from the original two but hopefully once the pecking order has been established things will settle down. Chickens are so mean 😂

Love all your dodgy bags! I don't sew other than cross stitch and I should really get a stitching project on the go soon. I liked the bag your friend Claudia made for you. The stitching on it reminded me of sashiko which is an old Japanese tradition I think used to stitch together and strengthen clothes that workers used to do. You could defo decorate a bag using this technique. Look forward to your next vlog instalment 😊
