The Terracotta Warriors are truly something special and a big shout out to the people who are working to restore each and every one of them. We loved our time in Xian . The Musilim Quarter was great area to eat in. And Gao's Courtyard give you a window to what it was like in China back in the day. All in all we have wonderful experience there. Sounds like you had a great time there. Harriet and I wish you the Happiest of the New Year 2025. 🍷🍷 Looking forward to lots of great content. Be Safe ! Stay Healthy ! 🙏❤🙏 Luv Ya! I see.. but exactly who built it. The manchu the han etc. China consists of many different countries. When they lost they became a colony of the more powerful country. Then finally united all to become as 1 country. For example a 100 year from now all Europe country united as one you don't say Europe built the eiffel tower you would say the French built it.

Hi Phobe, I’ve been a longtime fan of your channel, watching all the way from Canada. I’m originally from Xi’an, China-a city full of history and poetry. Your videos have such a unique way of capturing the world, blending light and shadow to tell stories that resonate deeply. I’m curious, what camera do you use? Is it a DJI product? If so, which model? The quality is absolutely stunning! Thank you for sharing these beautiful moments with us. I look forward to seeing more of your amazing creations in China!

I think my favorite story about the Terracotta Warriors is that an archaeologist discovered a fingerprint on one of the warriors. This fingerprint was left by the craftsman who made the warrior over 2,000 years ago. In this way, two Chinese people, separated by two millennia, formed a unique connection.

Contrary to popular myth, the Terracotta Warriors were not discovered randomly. The existence and general area of the tomb were well known for thousands of years thanks to extensive historical documentation. The tomb was also marked by a weirdly symmetrical hill on an otherwise flat plain. Everyone pretty much guessed that the tomb was under that hill.

Hello and welcome in 2025! I knew nothing about Xi’An, so this episode is full of new things, which I’m excited about. It seems that you did a lot of food tastings, yummy! Again a very luxurious en spacious hotel room, that seat in the corner is fantastic. And that buffet food is great! Feeling secure at new places is very important, because I’ve felt unsafe a few times when traveling alone. Happy you felt safe! The dogs are lovely, I always get happy when the dogs are around. When I’m traveling to Svalbard this summer, for sure I’m going to visit the Husky cafe. That sports lesson outdoors is great, it reminds me of the one time I was planning to visit a temple in Seoul on Hangul day and then when we heard music, we went to where the sound came from and there was a full afternoon of Hangul Day festival experience for each and everyone. Those surprises are the best. Cooking with the locals is the best way to meet culture and food. And what tastes better than home-made food? Thanks for sharing and off to much more travels in 2025. Have an amazing year ahead 🤙
