Dear Leah, such a beautiful video, thank you so much. Another day I was thinking about how naive I was just not that long time ago, getting my peace from assurance that "big" people in the world are working hard to create peace in the world, that scientists in their labs are working hard to create new reliable cures for illnesses etc etc I thought that if something failed here and there it was just a genuine mistake, that nobody tried to hurt humans on purpose. Sometimes it's hard to see the reality the way it is, but the verse from apostle Paul urging us to think of what is true, noble, beautiful is so crucial in times like this. I thank our Father that He is in control and we, women, can still wear dresses, have long hair and feel beautiful without fake tan, fake eye lashes, synthetic fashionable clothing etc etc. Thank you for showing that this is possible in times like this. God bless you and reward you for your faithfulness to His calling in your life. Beauty is such an important part of this life. I'm reading the gospel of John these days and one verse struck me when Jesus after talking to the Samaritan woman tells His disciples " my food is to do the work of the One who sent me". I thought doing what God called us to do is nourishing as real, honest food , that's why Jesus let Mary sit at His feet, cause how will we know what to do if we don't spend lovely, heart warming time at His feet. Thank you again ☘️

And dear one, You are also Loved! I just left a comment on one of your dog videos. I could leave one on each of your videos because I love each one. I find your videos very peaceful and good to also watch before bedtime. I just started watching a few days ago. I have already forwarded your site to a friend and to my daughter who has had health problems. I grew up caring for chickens and when married we had them also. I lived in the Northeast and would love to go back. I may! We had 60 acres with streams and a river flowing by the property our married children live on the property. My husband and I had gardens, veggies, herbs and flowers. How I miss it. So, listening to you brings back sweet memories of God's goodness. Also, that I need to be careful of how I care for this body that God gave me. I don't cook like I use to. Thank you for all you are doing. You sound like a kindred spirit. I will add you to my ministry, which now is prayer. I wish we could sit and talk sharing for hours!

One thing you could help me with in future videos, is to address HOW to relax and find peace when our environment is anything but peaceful. I live in an apartment in the city. For literally the entire Spring and Summer, there has been tree cutting, construction, storms, tree limb cutting, etc going on outside my livingroom window. Even now, trying to listen to your video and do the slow breathing is difficult for me. I wish I lived in a peaceful and serene mountain area or garden, but unfortunately that is not my reality.

In our fleshly desires for convenience and quick gratification, it has come at a great cost. I too believe God created our bodies to heal and thrive if cared for and given the right fuel. Honestly however I have given in to convenience and compromise. Thank you for your encouragement to refocus and be more intentional. On purpose with God's purpose. PS I have a little tippy tapper that is always heard in the background too.😁

The biggest thing in my life that I have noticed affecting me negatively is the music I listen to. I listen to a lot of secular music, and at church a few days ago during worship, the Spirit nudged me. The way the hymns nourished my soul and gave me so much joy is vastly different than how the music I've been listening to makes me feel, not just spiritually, but mentally and emotionally. I've since stopped listening, and the silence and peace in my soul is astounding just in the span of a few days. I'm more peaceful, less agitated, frustrated, and angry. I will be going through my music catalog and clearing out all that does not fill me up, and find the music that does.

Such a beautiful video Lea. One of my favorites. I’m going to meditate on this one for awhile. I really enjoyed your video. So much resonates with how I wish to move forward at a slower pace. I'm sick of being over stimulated and overwhelmed. I want to create rituals which allow me the time to use my skills again. I want to turn my back on convenience and do as much as I can from scratch. I actually heard recently of a 20+ age group of women taking it in turns to ask their Mum, Grandmother, Aunty to come over on a Saturday afternoon to have lunch and teach a skill. It might be how to knit, or how to thread a needle to sew on a button and darn socks, grow seedlings or even roast a chicken. All life skills that have been replaced with convenience and over consumerism over the last 20 to 30 years. Once these skills were passed down but convenience has spoken louder to both the older and newer generations. They choose other things as priority and where they wish to give their time. I hope the pendulum is swinging back the other way.

Yes! Teaching my children how to nourish their body with food is so important to our family. 11 years ago I found paleo and gaps diet and have been striving for a cleaner way of life and eating. Loving now my 13 year old daughter taking an interest in herbalism and learning the remedies along with me♥️ Trying to reignite that which was lost. Those passing of remedies and traditions. Also I cannot wait for your book!!! So so so enjoying using my intentional living journal! Only wish it had more pages for more days.

Lea, this video is spot on. Our bodies are capable of healing. We need to do our part to provide it with the purest and cleanest of substance. I am in a similar journey and it’s been incredible how much my body and overall well-being has healed. I can’t tell others enough how much energy I have, how rejuvenating my sleep is, my skin is glowing, need I go on? I must focus as much on my daily walk with the Lord for spiritual nourishment and be more intentional. Thank you for that reminder Sister-In-Christ. ❤ Appreciate the lovely video!
