You and your husband are sweet together! The new wallpaper is so cute. That chair looks very comfortable in the nook too. Yeah the rain led to more flooding here where I live in NJ. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as it was in February though. It is still a lot of rain. I think about the fact that when I was 5 months old though, 40 years ago this month, there was a very very bad flood in this area and my mom was so stressed out that she gained some issue with her breast while nursing me that became cellulitis in the breast and stopped nursing me and it was all during the evacuation and flood. Therefore, since I have a nearly 10 month old (tomorrow), I am thankful that I am not evacuating and am not all flooded in as my mom was in that time (both with our third child). -JusticePirate

All last week we got rain and snow mix. Today it's sunny and beautiful out. We're ready for spring and summer to get here and stay. Deep cleaning the house and getting the yard and gardens ready for an enjoyable summer. It's a short season for us, so we love to spend as much time outside as we can.

Hi Lea! I sometimes struggle a little at this time of years, but I comfort myself by reading my Bible and devotions! I also like to remember that here in England, we have an old proverb: “March winds and April showers bring forth May flowers", This reminds me that everything am curious to know if this proverb is known and used in the USA and Canada? The proverb reminds me that everything in Creation happens for a reason. God has designed everything so perfectly!

I like your videos. So far I haven’t seen any. I don’t like. I like them because they’re honest, clean, vocabulary is definitely above and beyond the call of duty. Nothing hateful or malicious is coming out of your mouth. And I appreciate that. Today you can’t even flip through the Thing without finding somebody constantly saying something about something. And I don’t like the constant negative speech. Yours is not negative speech. I see it as you’re trying to guide us to analyze our own thinking and how we can adjust our own thinking and positive ways. So far I think everything you said is good. I appreciate it and I am actually watching some of your videos twice sometimes three times just because I like it.

It got pretty chilly again here in Western Washington. We live next to the mountains so we have the beautiful view of the fresh snow on the peaks. My sweet Daddy past away on March 20th and today was a good day to cozy up in one of his sweaters I chose to keep for myself. We're doing ok, knowing we'll see him again, but I do have my moments. Count each day you wake up to as a tremendous blessing from the Lord. Always tell your family how much you love them, and hug them everytime you see them. You never know when the day will come when you won't be able to do that again.

I set up a cozy nook myself about a month ago. I found a pair of lazy boy feather filled french looking chairs at a thrift store for $35 each. They sit deep so you can curl up in them as well. I did not have a chair to do that in. I put one in a cozy corner of our bedroom with a small table by it. A coaster, a candle and flowers on it. I have a few books on the floor by it. I also have a small soft blanket. It's by a window . I have coffee and watch the wildlife in the mornings with the window open and evening before bed. It is a calming peaceful nook. We have been in house for 16 yrs and i finally have my nook. Love your cozy reading area as well. Praying for little chick. Thank you for inspiring us!

Just threw down manure and more soil myself 😅

Any kind of (cool) compost! We add just a couple of inches layered straight on top of the bed-horse, rabbit, pig, cow manure. And bedding from chickens and other said animals- which for us is either pine shavings from chickens or unsprayed straw (not hay- as they can sometimes contain weed seeds) from everything else. Can also add soil of course, but compost really gives it a good boost.

I always enjoy your videos. Love your wall paper too...and feminine clothing. We've been cool and rainy here too on Whidbey. I like a cozy corner to spin on my spinning wheel. Another favorite read which you might like is POLLYANNA by Eleanor Porter... famous for the "glad game". BBC did a movie a few years ago that really captures the character. They changed a few things baseing it in Britain, but I loved the actors and essence of the book is there. One of my favorite movies. Have a nice day. God bless.

Hey sisters 😊 I have a similar style also, and find the dresses second hand at thrift shops, artisanal markets in the towns around mine, and online. Not sure you have Vinted in the US but there must be similar websites. 😊

I actually get most of my clothes from thred up which is an online second hand clothes shop. (I have a link in the description box) I can find cotton and linen pieces there for more than half the original prices. In the filters you can select material preferences. 😊

I primarily wear dresses and skirts. I mostly wear natural fibers since I'm allergic to Polyester, Nylon, and Rayon. Stretch fabric is nice since my bust is 44 inches and my waist is 32 inches. My style is simple, minimalist, and Bohemian. I get most of my clothing from Amazon or Etsy. When I have an income again would like to try Gaia Conceptions. I do more of a woman cave. My room has a bed where I sleep and do portable hobbies. It has 3 five-drawer chests that hold clothing and books in the drawers. Two of the tops create my standing desk. Computer is on one and my laser printer is on another. The third top holds my personal care, skin care, hair care, hair accessories, and my jewelry. A shelf holds a small tv, DVD, and my wired gaming consoles. In front of the TV is where I swing kettlebells. I am a follow along kind of person. I prefer Lauren Brooks DVDs. Streaming sometimes lags. I love sitting on an exercise ball but our autistic son Daniel kept popping them. Most seats hurt my extra small butt. I'm V shaped. My shoulders are 43 inches and my hips are 38 inches. It means my shoulders are wider than my hips. I used to have a bookshelf but most of my clothes need to be hung. I no longer share a room with Daniel. When he was younger he didn't like sleeping in a room by himself. Damiel and I are deep sleepers so it made sense for us to share. Lee is a light sleeper. Even a chance in temperature wakes him up so his bedroom is on the opposite side of the house from ours. Now that Daniel is a teenager he likes his privacy. His clothes used to be in the first one. The towels were in the third one but I now store them in the bathrooms. Thinking about adding a small sewing cabinet and a treadle sewing machine. I have proportionally short legs so some of my clothing needs to be hemmed. It would be less expensive to hem them myself.
