This is the final season, and we're in the second last arc. After Grand Championship it's the Pharaoh's Memories arch, and after that, Little Kuriboh is done. He'll have done his quest. He'll have completed the entirety of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. It will be over. Nobody else has ever even gotten as close as Little Kuriboh has, and we're all eagerly awaiting him finishing this!

Martin outlasted DBZA, and dozens of other abridged series. Martin outlasted who knows how many obstacles, inconveniences, drama and tragedy in his personal life. And it's starting to seem like he is getting ready to outlast Covid19 as well. YUGIOHTAS episode 83 premiered today, the start of Season 5 and what seems to be the last season of the show. For real, I watched YGOTAS since episode 1, and it's not that LK just was the first to abridge, but to deal with all the legal shit too. I watched his channel and username get removed more times than I can count. TFS and everyone else can thank him for the legalese in front of every episode. I don't think Little Kuriboh even realizes how much he as influenced people. I can't speak for other countries, but the people that practically started the Finnish anime fandub scene, Mämmi Kunniaan, site him as the biggest inspiration. Whenever I watch this, I cant help but be inspired by the references to long-dead internet drama. Like, Martin's been doin it so long that those references are basically lost to time. There's some joke in one of the Naruto Abridged episodes where one of the builders brings his girlfriend to work on the bridge and it all kind of goes haywire, and - while I may have as a kid when I first watched it - I have *no* clue what that's referencing. He's the first to abridge, the longest to abridge, and I'd say the best there's ever been - and, as many folks are saying here, he's outlasted em all. Kickin' ass and takin' names and playin' games (of the children's card variety) since '06.
