First time I have found a recipe similar to my Grammy's! I love hers the best! Fairly similar, but with milk and not really draining the water. Oh and she did them in bacon grease though.

Isn't it amazing all the different types of potatoes around the world. The best potatoes are starchy Laura the waxy ones are not good to use because of the water content. I did a google and Mondial and Russet potatoes are good if you can get any of them.
