perhaps i can make a theory: the listener happens to have some wolf within his DNA however its too small to notice due to his bloodline being mostly human. when the Timberwolf smelled him and reacted to him it showed he has the mating smell and red moon just amplified his scent to be noticed however being more than 80% human it has a longer effect

Well in one of the earlier videos, there was mentions about Lycanbeasts having human children, though it is only a 2% chance and usually they give them up for adoption. Though that theory I think got blown out of the water since we know next to nothing of the Listener's family other than. He had no family prior to his attack and he is a single child.

First of all, this audio was an absolute delight. Especially that "encounter" with Wolfhart. When they started growling - actually growling! - at each other, I swear I made this awkward laughing/choking sound that was probably meant to convey the notion of, "Please nobody pee in a circle around me like actual animals marking territory." Seriously though, I loved this. I very much enjoyed the first part, and I am thrilled that it has been given a second. If it becomes a full series, I certainly would love that too, but that's ultimately your choice, so I won't beg or demand for it one way or the other. Again, amazing audio. Thanks, Ragdoll.

Very happy to have caught the second episode of this series and the bonding is going in a nice and slow pace. Her territorial/jealous side coming out as the attic wolf girl was eyeing us up as the two talked was believable for someone like Olivia who is near her life mate. I think anyone would be territorial of their life mate if they felt someone was looking at them in a lustful desire or even romantic interest as sharing a mate/lover is not one of humanities strong points. I’d imagine it’s more so for a beastperson. Keep up the good work!

This may be me going Criminal Minds again and overthinking based what VERY little information we've been given, but I have a feeling Miss Wolfhart may be more involved in the case than she lets on. Like I said on the previous part, someone like the Harvest Moon Killer, they're methodical, they prepare, prep their kit, and case their victim. Wolfhart appeared to be fishing for information the moment she found out Clawthorne was in law enforcement, and was definitely trying to throw her off her game to try and get said information. Someone that smart, they'd insert themselves into the investigation, find out what the cops know, and either prep for next harvest moon, or if they're off balance themselves because whatever drives them to kill was left unsatisfied, they'll break their MO and try to finish the job. That said, I personally also prefer timber wolves to arctic wolves, partially because I've actually met and seen timber wolves, and while all wolves have this incredible soulfulness and intelligence behind their eyes, with timber/grey wolves, it's like there's even more going on behind them, and it just draws you in. I mean, I know eye contact is also very much considered a threat/challenge display, but I'd LOVE to get close to a timber wolf and just stare into those eyes and get lost in the floof that is its body.

Lacey’s life mate (if she has one) probably is an Arctic Wolf. The life mate gland seems to be a sort of shorthand for mate compatibility in general, summarizing personality and other traits that match their partner’s desires in a mate. Hence why Olivia actually likes us instead of just liking our scent. So aspects of breeding would probably be included in that, especially as it develops upon reaching sexual maturity. That said, does it include things like job status that may have changed or shifted after the gland develops? Probably not. So she could get a high bred bum. Fitting for a psychotic murderer (if indeed, she has any match at all, and isn’t searching forever because of how she handles the “wrong” scents). Second time through this story. The writing and world building are just top notch.

So, revised idea: If Lacie is indeed the Harvest Moon Killer, her life mate is a human. Something heretofore unheard of, and considered "high class" enough for Lacie's tastes. But, when she first encountered her life mate, she didn't know that a human could have a life mate scent, and so left the encounter frustrated and annoyed, not understanding what it was...until it was too late. Now, each Harvest Moon, when her senses are heightened and most clued in, she goes hunting, desperate to find the life mate she accidentally rejected, nabbing every human who looks right and has a similar scent (the scent of A life mate bond, but not HER life mate bond), and then kills those with the "wrong" scent. Desperately hunting, and driven mad by the accidentally rejected life bond.

I can honestly say that no other audio RP has had me legitimately invested in the plot. It feels like the usual gimmicky crime drama/romance you'd see on TV and I love it. I am slightly annoyed that the listener is portrayed as the oblivious type when Lacie shows up, insults Olivia via racism, and has a condescending tone throughout most of the conversation. She gives off mad Thot vibes and that is plainly obvious. The listener feels like a clueless harem anime protagonist, but maybe it's just the higher than usual quality of everything else that make me nitpick the characterization of the listener. I guess I'm trying to say that it's hard to treat this with the standard measurements of an audio RP when it feels more like an official audio book with the POV character's dialogue missing. All that aside, I really love this and I gladly subscribed. This Wolf Cop two-parter (Hoping for more parts!) was the first I saw of your content and I'm excited to check out the rest!

You know after re-listening to the overall story, because it's just that good, hearing Lacy go from being a clearly flirty and openly hitting on the op and even suggesting that she imagined her and the op as life mates....and then making Lacy the ops sister in ch./ep. 7, is kinda weird. I'm not sure if Ragdoll and her team changed story beats or I'm reading to much into the initial interaction.

I actually find the wolf breed diatribe fun. It’s true in North America Timber wolves are the most common species of wolf here which in turn makes the arctic wolf much rarer. Arctic wolves tend to live in frozen environment i.e. the North Pole where they’re more adapted to the sheer cold
