Lycanbeasts. Strange beings who emerged from the human evolution chain only recently. They are the living embodiment of the word "primal". Half human and half beast, they are respected as well as feared. And the fuller the moon becomes, the more they feel the call of the wild.
For the past five months, a Lycanbeast has been murdering humans and stumping the police. The papers have dubbed him "The Harvest Moon Killer", and tonight...YOU are his latest victim. Luckily, you managed to escape and now find yourself in an interrogation room with yet another Lycanbeast. Only, this one seems more nervous of YOU than you are of HER.

I like to hear more of this. And if I had to take a guess about the motivation of the Harvest Moon Killer, she is only killing human males how are similar to our listener. A type of "special case" of humans who have a genetic mutation in their blood that attracts lycan beasts. And our killer is some sort of "purest". Also, when she said "remove my mating gland", my first thought was, "you mean they nuder you guys?!"

I think you're in the right direction. The listener is probably a lycanbeast with recessed genes basically a human with subtle beast genes. The serial killer likely ignored their mating, and is now driven mad with boiling blood at the smell of the unmated.

A number of them only have a single video for now, but more will be written. In addition to the Life Mate series, there is the Caiman Café series, Lyra the Sweet Lawyer, Cameron Lewis the Stubborn Partner, and Juliet Peafowl the Lycanbeast Model. All of these take place in the Lycanverse. Most of them have at least some connection to the other characters and events. For example, the Caiman Café was introduced in the main series and has shown up multiple times. Cameron works on the police force with Liv and Hawke. Lyra is a lawyer who is taking on a case at Liv's request. The only one which doesn't have a direct connection is Juliet the Model, but it references the Harvest Moon Killer, at least.

Not as crowded as you’d think. Avian Lycanbeasts need a Flyer’s Permit and are only allowed to reach a certain height to avoid run in’s with planes and such. There are also certain areas where they’re not allowed to fly.
