@@Zarviya I understand the physical aspect "requires" big boxes, but even dragging a 4 SCU container around to individually store items in... not something I like to fiddle with more than a few times. Just imagine, you are surface mining in a cave and stash all the gems in one box... usually not worth it for the hours you spend down there.

If you use the new loot interface on the CSV’s internal storage, you can move an undersuit from inventory, directly onto your body, and all the gear will snap to you. It’s way faster than reequipping all your gear manually.

Hey there TCG. Thank you for all the great videos. I often learn a lot by watching you, and the length you go to, to explore the mechanics of the game. FYI: you don't need to land your ship in the center of the hangar. It is more advantageous to put your rear end / cargo door facing the freight elevator and much closer. Looting guns nets the most amount of auec, I sold a full 2 scu box of nothing but guns (no sidearms) and it was around 80k, and it seems to be the average amount, takes slightly more time to gather all the guns though but if u put all the guns in a pile u can drag and drop while looting the stuff box.

@inviktus1983 saddle bags dont have snapping points so anything you put there gets launched into space as soon as you move and the 1 scu cargo snapping point rarely works and boxes fall out of that sometimes. On top of that it cant maneuver at all and very easily tips over.

@@davidthompson1453 you can take a 1scu in the mule, and to be honest it’s enough for looting .. 👍, I’m a loot goblin but I only collect specific gear /guns and never found a need for more that 4 scu.. didn’t stop me getting one though.. plus fact I have still got 8 mules available from back in the day of 3.18 👍

Just for additional info, you can stack 1/8 armour boxes two deep as well (though using 2scu boxes is probably faster in most cases)

I just use the cyclon base model as it holds a 1SCU on its cargo grid in the back. Yes the box snaps to the grid. No need to pull all the armor pcs as some are worth less than a couple hundred credits and take up way to much space, helmets and guns cores if your itching to sell fast, but one box is enough, have a few exra empties in the back of the ship to swap if your doing multiple runs as well.

no, you have to go to a center thats controled by a pirate faction. many of them have security and civilians on them and if you kill one of these, you get a CS.

You can kill them all and you should be safe for a very long time. They did respawn on me once but took like an hour or 2

whoever designed the Argo CSV-SM hads never driven a truck or used a trailer . The rear Axle placement is all wrong and should be about a foot further back so its behind the cargo centre of gravity. then it wouldnt tilt every time you move foward.

You can put these in the back of a spartan easily, this has guns on the top which make it better as you can kill everything without exiting your vehicle.

15:30 the 30k protection does not always works fine. You might need to wait 5-10 minutes before logging in back, as my ship marked as stored, after recent 30k, but IDK where is it stored. Can't find it anywhere

Definitely better than tractoring boxes everywhere. I'm all for physicalizing but we need to have good alternative solutions for looting and cargo. So this is a good step in that direction. Can the CSV take a 4 SCU container? If they added the ability to drag and drop NPC undersuit directly into SCU container that would really be nice.

Driving that into a bunker won't be much help for looting, as most people park their ships right next to the bunker and use an inexpensive tractor beam to transfer their cargo can.

That’s why he was putting the armor on himself first. Looting directly from a corpse into a box doesn’t work from what I’ve seen so you have to drop the items off the corpse, THEN load into the box afterward by dragging from the group to the box inventory menu. Or do what he was doing, get naked, drag their under suit onto your body and all the gear comes with it, then drag the under suit into the crate inventory menu and bam.

I think so too. I would probably just run illegal bounties and sell the cargo if I wanted to optimize for just money but I can only do bounties for so many hours before it gets repetitive so I like to try different ways to make money in game and see what I can come up with.

that is nice and all. but you do realize... the mpuv can hold up too 1 8scu box. so having 2x2scu boxes, then 2x2scu boxes then 2x2scu boxes on truck is 12scu with 89-96% fills. that you have to go back and forth and back and forth with. if you had just got 4 8scu boxes 94-99%, put it in ship stacked. 2x2. then park the mpuv... that would be a total of 31.36scu of loot on the cutty vs 11.1scu of loot. just saying...

I've been complaining that we needed a pickup in this game for years and I didn't even know this was out. 🙄 Have you tried piling the bodies in the back, just for grins and giggles? As somebody else said it would be easier to use the side door on the DCB (and this truck vastly improves the usability of that ship, since the URSA doesn't fit in it). I wonder if you could've used the MaxLift to put the boxes up on the DC deck from the ship so you didn't have to run down to it. If the Nursa and this truck both fit in a Max I'm gonna be in great shape for these DCs (the last update stole both my Taurus and my Andro 😡- those would of course be ideal for this work).
