Whew! That was, dare I say it.... almost painful to watch! You'd think by now that except for maybe some tribe in central Africa or maybe even in some remote area of Australia, everyone in the world would know about Littleton coins by now. Please, never put yourself (or us) through that again!🤣 But seriously, thanks as always, for some interesting content! It's greatly appreciated! Take care, be safe and God bless!

Right? It's crazy to see fair prices on a couple things and then BAM, something priced 4+ times it's value. God Bless!

I mean that was pretty painful to watch but it wasn't nearly as bad as the last one you did on them. $5 for the Eisenhower in I'd say at least AU52 isn't that bad to me?? I might actually take them on that deal just because I like Eisenhower dollars enough. But WOW the price on the Carter Quarter was hilarious!
@CoinSnobz2 жыл бұрын
$5 for an Ike isn't bad at all. It's just amazing the WIDE gap on the prices. I know they use the good priced stuff to get you into the high priced items, I just feel bad for the folks that don't know what's a good deal and what's a way over priced.
@kyleflounder97832 жыл бұрын
@@CoinSnobz 100% agree. The fireworks hobby, which I know vastly more about, has kind of started doing the same thing. Put reasonable prices on some high-quality stuff, then shoot the price up when the product seems popular enough. They really scam you on the high shot-count items usually. What these brands are hoping for is you like their cheaper stuff and decide to splurge where their biggest margins and flashiest labels are.

It's too bad you can't get the deals they advertise without the Coins Every Month program. I understand they want to attract more customers, but if they lower the prices and keep with the deals without the Monthly Coin program, they'd attract more customers.

In 1970 when I was 12 years old I did the Littleton coin order, I bought the 1921 Morgan silver dollar in the ad for 4 dollars and they sent me alot of junk coins on approval I sent them back right away. Way too overpriced.

From what I've seen, that's been their business model since the beginning. 4 bucks for a Morgan? Man, if I had a time machine........

Ahh the usual suspects at the unusually high prices but here’s my question can you get rolls of the American women San Francisco quarters from Littleton? They are selling for ridiculous amounts on eBay just curious if Littleton is aware and what they charge thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼

Back around 2000 to 2004, they really hit it hard with those colorized coins. Silver Eagles, nickels etc. Littleton and the Morgan Mint were HUGE culprits. I still have quite a few of those from relatives for Christmas and birthdays.

I personally use littleton here and there when they have some good deals.I do like that they offer to look at the product before buying but I agree they're overpriced most of the time like 90% of the time.
@CoinSnobz2 жыл бұрын
There's for sure some decent deals from them. It amazes me how much it varies. "A great deal on this, then right next to it a coin set 4X what it should be". If you know what you're looking at, it's a good resource. I just feel bad for those who don't know.

Littleton is the worst....they try to sell coins which are highly "overgraded"....I have a friend who ordered from them and got 5 face value coins that they felt were worth $30. They weren't. They were coins readily available from a bank. They were placed in small plastic bag graded as MS.....they were barely AU. Littleton is a scam.
@CoinSnobz Жыл бұрын
Ya, I've seen some RIDICULOUS things come from Littleton. Once in a while you can find something, but most of the time it's just used as "bait" to get you in.

@@CoinSnobz thats what they do. Its ashame. Very discouraging to new collectors. Littleton actively and knowingly rip people off. Im sure you can get decent stuff too....put how overpriced will those coins be?
