Same. I'll be honest, while Casey Lee Williams isn't a bad singer, per se, her voice always sounds... how do I put this? Flat? Bored? Like, she's putting her heart into it, but maybe not her soul? I mean absolutely no harm to Casey, that's just how I feel, and it makes it hard to listen to her lyrics without thinking it's a cover and not a professional studio recording. Little V's cover, on the other hand, has life. This really does feel like someone taking off the training weights and ready to put in 100%. Now, it could just be how I've seen each song implemented (I've seen both RWBY and Combat Gods, and a 2D stick figure battle isn't exactly the same as a 3D cell shaded fight scene), but as someone who likes to use music to visualize possible senarios for my original characters, I've gotten more out of this than with the original (note that both versions were absolutely spectacular; it's like comparing an A to an A±).
