Fleish's testing with Liu/Alex was VASTLY different to yours. I think its being Fleish's was double relic and not the Alex in yours.

Can you figure out a way to simulate a murder ball? Much more realistic for 90% of fighting. I get duels gives you a clearer understanding of the skills but not necessarily pairings.

I appreciate your live streams, I watched it live. But it would be cool if you can figure out do test with multiple marches to simulate a murder ball. It’s pretty rare you’ll be doing duels. While Sargon looks better in 1v1 but Alex adds shields to Allys and damage buffs to enemies. That could tip the scales. Just an example. I think that would be more helpful. Right now my whole kd is waiting for murder ball reports lol

Obviously the Guan-Liu combo didn't work against Boudica-Zhuge because they shrug off Guan's silence and deal extra damage because of it. Maybe should have tested it against other infantry combos would have given a much clearer idea.

After putting some thought I think you should pair a smite with a skill almost always that way a skill damage debuff or a normal debuff only effects half of your march

@Chisgule you didn't test Liu as primary?? The results are popping off for Liu/Sargon as the meta pair. Takes more sev wounds but for the extra sev wounds they take, you're getting almost twice that in sev wounds dealt.

I'm marveled at Chizgule’s ability to carve out a 28 min video about fairly useless tests (again, no gear 1vs1 tests ffs) where he dedicates a couple minutes to the only really important thing that he should have been testing, which is how Smite damage interacts with current damage amplifications and reductions and what the extra normal attack from the expertise can or cannot trigger, just to basically say "would be cool to test all of that, huh?"

Guys I need a little suggestion about who should I expertise next, so I'm currently running Saladin/Nevsky and Scipio/Alex, I have enough sculptures to only replace either Alex or Saladin with a meta commander such as Huo,Sargon,joan or lui che, which commander should I go for amongst these purely for open field?

Liu Che/Attila in Strategem with Martial Talent performs very well, but with most things you've outlined about Liu not broken, just effective.

Ring of Doom won't active twice because it has 5 second cooldown the moment it activates....Lui Che can activate Horn of Fury twice tho.

No, actually feral nature is even better. If you watch closely Sargon Liu tests, you can see that they cast active skill very fast because of feral nature. Even Huo isn't much quicker than Sargon Liu in casting first skill.

Yeah. It's the same principle of the more rage you generate, the more valuable it gets right? So yeah, Feral + double NA is over raging, but that only happens with a 2.5% possibility. Compared with the 7.5% + 25% chance of either a double NA, or a Feral proc, both which would generate max rage on that turn. @@irakli1264

For all the f2p that dont have the latest and greatest commanders, liu che and alex will slap infantry and cavalry marches on the open field. So yea, your alex is just fine, no need to spend 700 sculptures to get sargon

summary about liu che 1. need expertise for full potential 2. can be paired with: -alex ( high dps but squishy march in murderball this combo just gone get hit by aoe surrounding even not targeted lol) -sargon ( balanced and super good in 1v1 duel but in murderball situation hard to stack sargon dmg and liu hardly to shine ) -scipio ( no need introduction, anything with scipio is getting better, consistent march for this meta ) basically if want to know liu potential for field just do 5v5 fight then see how it goes with all gears stuff equiped

You should only be worrying about leveling up commanders in the early game? Are you leveling up all commanders as you go? You should rarely be leveling commanders at your stage. Only the ones you use. The game gives so many exp tomes that this should not be a worry.

I have been trying relic'd Constatine (extra normal damage) and Liu to decent results as a tanky march; he is already doing damage that approaches my expertised Guan/Skippy march and Liu is not even close to expertised. I recommend trying it.

There are many other tests (e.g. in Fleischs livestream) which are showing that Liu Alex performs really good. Some reports even better than Liu Sargon.

The reports do match up between the two streams. I'm guessing Sargon is tankier vs incoming skill dmg but deals less dmg: Bou ZL > Liu Alex >> Nev Joan Bou ZL < Sargon Liu > Nev Joan

Knowing how extremely greedy lilith is I'm not surprised the best pair is Sargon. They did it on purpose because Sargon was kind of a bust and not many people were investing in him. Remember when lilith lied and said they were going to slow down new commander releases (after sargon) because people were tired of always playing catch up. And now they are droppi g new commanders faster than ever...

😂😂😂 Liu should be the primary . Alex will boost the inf atk by 30% passive stats + additional 40% when "not shielded" a total of 70% atk boost. That will boost Liu Che's active skill dmg if alex is primary.

Surprising it is not mentioned that liu che hits 5 and has defences. Guan yu hits 3 and is glass. No one duels their way through kvk 1v1. Guan yu is done.
