CEO of a VFX & Animation studio here, we have been looking at this same approach and I’m actually blown away to see how great the output of this approach was. It was refreshing seeing conventional methods of VFX used rather than Ai - it really shows that you can get the same outcome, if not better, using your skills. If you don't know what Midjourney is it actually is an AI image generator so your comment isn't really accurate. Yes they didn't use any AI for the effect itself but they did use it for the backgrounds
