So many men ignor their failing hearing, among other things, and start blaming others for mumbling, didn't realise there's a relation between hearing loss and memory loss, early dementia.. Big thanks to Mr Clarkson for making this public,, his audience is huge, this will certainly boost awareness of this issue. We men of this generation are so ignorant( stubborn )of our own health issues and we often leave it way too late to get help.. I wish him and his loved ones well.

Clarkson having a dementia at 63?! That's cruel. Malcolm Young (AC/DC) died from dementia complications at 64. That's horrendous. Dementia steming from his hearing problems? More probable cause could be from cardiovascular condition. He's (or was) an avid smoker. It's a know fact that smoking can lead to shrinking of the blood vessels. This is know as cardiovascular dementia. My grandmother had hearing troubles (more like deafness, then hearing difficulties). She did had a hearing aid, obviously. However, she never displayed any symptoms of dementia (thankfully).
