My hair is fine and straight and 3 feet long. When I brushed it through the first couple of brushes with this brush I literally had to just look at the brush in amazement. I was very impressed with it. I usually have 3 brushes. 1 in shower, 1 for wet hair, 1 for dry hair. Now I only use the unbrush. It’s crazy!

I love the Unbrush or whatever it's called. It detangles my hair so fast! I don't even use a conditioner, just let the water run through my hair in the shower and brush through. I can brush my hair upside down and to the side with NO issues. ✨HOWEVER✨ it really does not define my curls very well. Like my hair gets really frizzy the next day and I have to fix it. After I detangle, I use my Tangle Teezer to define my curls the way I want and my hair lasts the full week like normal. Maybe I just need to brush my roots better or something but that's my only complaint 👍🏾 Edit: I have 3c/4a curls

I am loc’ed now, but when I was a loose natural, I used to love this brush for blow drying, along with the tension method. It saved me from breakage and allowed for faster drying time, due to the air gaps between the bristles.

Yeah, I was mad at myself, but I ordered it. And I was shocked and amazed that it actually worked! I first tried it on six week old hair, and my hair is somewhat similar to your texture. Very kinky with fine strands that knot very easily. I really couldn’t believe it.

Update: I dangled all my hair in 7 minutes. I have 4A hair and I brushed my hair dry, no problems and about a nickel size amount of hair came off my brush. Usually I have a tennis ball amount of hair after detangling. I 100% would recommend this brush to everyone with natural curly and coiled hair.💛💛💛💛

The hype is real and I was so happy to see you review this. People thought it was all hype but seeing the ad with the child who was autistic using it made this severely tender headed woman hit the pay now button with no regrets. Ladies, I’m not one who likes to comb my hair. I was a week past wash day and boy was my hair matted! I dreaded doing my hair…. I grabbed this brush with no hope. This wasn’t my hair after washing, I needed to detangle dry hair and from bottom to top it glided through my matted hair with ease and not too tough on my scalp. I didn’t feel it! I’m pleased

I got the branded version from TKMaxx in the UK for the same price. Even when I'm really late taking plaits out 😢 an overnight oil soak with a plastic shower hat then 20 mins with the brush and it's completely de-tangled my shoulder length 4c hair before washing 👍🏻Thanks for spreading the news ❤ So sorry they didn't have this when I was little!!

I have been using this brush for years now when I wash my conditioner out, Also there is a kind that can be used with a blow dryer so I have two. The good thing about it is that when my hair is dry and it's in a good condition like day 3-4 I can brush my hair with it without worrying about it making my hair too puffy. A paddle brush makes my hair super puffy so it's hard to get it to sit into a pun. I have 4A- 4B by the way.

Honestly you did not need a brush, if it was just in cornrows. Maybe try this after your hair has been down, rewet and restyled over 2-4 weeks. Thats the real test. 😅
