All that brush does is smooth your hair. That's it. It makes it smoother than blow drying alone.

As soon as I saw that brush, memories of those stiff scratchy bristles came back to me. My sister used to have the same type of brush, just a different brand, and it requires good forearm strength just to get it through fine straight hair. I am convinced that brush does more damage on it's own than blow drying your hair on medium heat

Sooo true I had the same experience you can hardly get the brush through and I have 2c hair and here and there a little type 3 curls and my sister has type 3c 3b and none of use plans on using it again cause it didn't work for any of us 😂

I had that brush, like 15 yrs ago when it first came out. I have super fine blonde hair with a serious wave and bounce, but no actual curls. I had to do 4-5 passes to get it straight, and even then it was still slightly wavy…

In Canada, if you buy the expensive device and it's not worth it, you can return it easily if you only use it once or a couple of times and send it back in perfect shape with the box and all items that come in the package. Just check the store policy but most of them are quite good on that. I'd not buy such expensive device but the investment is a business expense, in your case, and it might be worth it, depending on what you may expect monetization wise. If not, you can always pool the community for donations and, if you get enough, use the collected money to purchase the device (I think some platforms allow for you to only collect the money / charge the offers if you reach your goal or if you choose to take what was collected and top it off from your own pocket later). It's funny that the result you got from the tool you used looks like what we'd expect from it. 😁

A suggestion. The latest TikTok craze is The Unbrush. It untangles all hair types with no pain. I’m talking about tons of videos of kids with 4c hair with no tears. I love mine.

Hello beauty. Have u ever seen/tried the Tymo Ring tool? It's about $50 and from the tutorials I've watched it looks like it works pretty well. I like the hair strand separater aspect of it so u don't have to get a comb or brush involved in the process except when you're sectioning your hair. Love your videos ❤

The phrase “wet to straight in 1 step” is a line I personally apply a list of caveats to, starting with Snappy Advertising, and continuing through Exact Definitions, to end at Modelling Magic, probably under perfect conditions…i.e. the claim is mostly lies, but they can use it by the strictest of definitions and the “any reasonable person” argument.

I don't flatiron my hair at all, but I do you use it occasionally to blow out my hair before I twist it or to stretch my twists if I do them wet. My type 4 hair is almost waist-length so it definitely saves time and its healthier than my old trusty blowdryer with the comb attachment lol.
