I am doing the same viral video DIY treatment today. Just wanted to say, I love your video, but it is always best not to use a plastic bowl when mixing your hair products. I also make sure I use organic rice. In the original video it states to wash it out with shampoo. However, I am going to wash my hair first, and use it as a treatment before I deep condition. I will see how that works. I am really looking for this treatment to make my hair softer.

I think its great you enjoyed using honey on your hair, I may do this for my own hair because of how thick it is and because I have it available, though mine isn't raw honey it's manuka so hopefully it's not too bad for it hehe, have a nice day if you wish ^w^

This is my 3rd time this videos been recommended to me during my annual hair binges, but it's the first time having actually watched it after trying honey myself. Personally, I don't exactly like honey in my hair, but my god is it a great moisturizer. I tried raw manuka honey on both my hair and my face. It didn't lighten my hair, which is prefferable because I have a hair gloss in anyways, but my god it's great for dry lips. I have tried so many lipbalms, some that included honey, and I've always had to abuse them to get my lips from cracking, but somehow using honey and keeping it on for a few minutes has done *way* more my lips than any lipbalm has ever done. Like, even now after 8 hours of being bare-faced, my lips are still pretty soft for how rough they usually feel. I do wish there was a way for me to remove my lip-scars (I'm a chronic lip biter, so I have scars from years of abuse) but honey was definitely the way to go for me when it comes to my face.

That's definitely NOT how it's done, lol. You only did the 2nd half of the process, which is why it came out like a blow out. You need snap on rollers and mousse 1st.

Hey, I have a suggestion for a new hair series: Recreating ancient Egyptian hairstyles. I think its obvious some hair textures are more suitable than others to pull off the many hairstyles that ancient Egyptians had. Not to mention this could be the gateway to you recreating hairstyles from all across the continent. I think this could be a big project that allows you to have so much creative flex.

Congrats on 10 years! I watch you with my nieces to give them ideas on what hairstyles they want to try next (that aren’t weave, silk press or wigs). There’s 4 girls and 2 boys, all adopted out of foster care. Their mom and I have curly hair, and they all have different textures, so it’s fun to see how the same styling turns out with 3A-4C textures. The boys used to hang with us, but they’re too cool now that they’re in middle school! I give their mom a break every other weekend and take over hair washing and styling. Now that they’re older, they can help their sisters and do a lot themselves, but it’s still fun to spend a day at their aunt’s house, doing hair and watching videos. They do my hair sometimes, too. Thanks for the memories and for being a great model of brains, humor, creativity, beauty and a strong work ethic combined!

i think a faster way would be be putting only the tip of hair in thr bobby pin- ear bud complex then rolling it then put the other pin rather than turning the hard way
