Was there in 2011 (as a tourist) and was very impressed with the diggers. Stayed in a hotel next to the memorials and watched the preparations. #wewillremberthem who gave their lives for Australia and Commonwealth.

41:34 can anyone tell me why 8/9 RAR "roar" as they march? It's not the normal drill instructions yelled by the commanders, it sounded like the whole unit.

Heya Bangbang, I think the "Roar" is part of the troop response to the Scottish March, "The Black Bear" a Pipes and Drums Standard. Sounds good , eh ?
