I put Win 11 on this computer just because I was curious about what changed. As far as I can tell there are a couple of cosmetic differences but other then that nothing has changed. I have two other computers a 3770 and a 4790 and im not going to bother putting win 11 on them. Im 68 and by 2025 ill either be dead or these computers will be retired.

Carey, I had a similar problem with random instability, and black screen. Thought it was the video card going south on me, but turned out to be the wireless key board. When removed from the build, the machine became stable again. Am interested to know what the problem will be on your clients machine. Maybe you can do a vid about it. I love your fix-it videos. Remember the one that had the power button panel that went bad, and also loved the last one you did about "cleaning" the SSD that would not let you install the OS. Good luck, and I look forward to seeing what the problem really was

Comment on laptop memory speed reminds me of the insanity around Ryzen 1st gen. AMD specified it would support up to 3200 MHz and motherboard manufacturers also advertised the same. When someone's memory would only run at 2966 or 3000 people would post some completely insane comments because they read the advertisements as "guaranteed 3200 MHz"; in reality the performance difference was less than 1%. Go figure, words have meaning.

You were talking about intermittment freezing and That could very well be spyware in the system somewhere that sneaked itsself in in something they downloaded. Ive found that to be the case lots more often than an actual problem with the computer components themselves

I tried using one of those straps a long time ago and its a pain in the ass to build with one on. Ive been building since 1995 and ive never had any damage due to electrostatic discharge either.

@CareyHolzman I notice your process is always the same and incorporates "the rules" as standard practice. Step 1 Prep Case, Step 2 Prep Motherboard, Step 3 Install Motherboard, Step 4 Connect Power, Fans, Front Panel, Step 5 Install Windows, Step 6 Test System, Step 7 Cable Management, Step 8 Prep, Package, Ship, Step 9 Get Paid (the most important step)...Lol. The process is kinda mundane, but the chat and interaction is what keeps me watching. Love your work ethic and what you do.
