Hello Angela, I’m looking forward to this newest challenge, and I can really use the help with the swirls. In the last three months I haven’t gotten much quilting done -I lost my mother, then two friends, then one of my younger sisters, had to move to a new apartment and then lost another friend. I found the fabric from the last challenge while trying to unpack my sewing things, so I’ll use that because I haven’t found work yet. Looking forward to sitting and sewing to help me heal from all this. But we have to get through the holidays first. Thank you for being there for us all with your challenges.

I've had my long arm about 4 years, but have really started using it after attending a workshop at the Paducah Quilt Show 2023. I'm new to my Moxie, working on my first quilt. I like having the batting and top floating. I took off my top bar as it seemed unnecessary. I tried to move my handwheel from the top bar to the backing bar but the screw drags under the black rectangle on the frame. Is there a different screw I need to get and is it ok to have removed the top bar?
