I'm amazed how in seconds Daisy became Marianne with all the nodding, little smiles etc! I don't mean that Paul is not a good actor, I just noticed the significant change in Daisy's behaviour, Paul's definitely more like Connell.

Paul is literally Connell so the contrast isn’t as big but he’s still an incredible actor especially with how flustered he gets with his intimate scenes and how he actually acted in them

As someone with a neutral Irish accent, I know how hard it is to pull off a neutral Irish accent. Daisy's is the most convincing I've ever heard, she could pass for native and no one would bat an eyelid. And then her performance, what an amazing young actor.

It isn't particularly obvious but does a great job with the sligo twang when in character. Daisy does a great job too considering she's starting from an english accent. At rare times it sounds put in but for the most part is perfect

Yeah its meant to be Paul is from Kildare and Connell is from.sligo so both counties have different accents. All 32 counties in Ireland have a different accent

After rewatching Normal People, I just have to watch their interviews. It's kinda soothing because they are laughing and having lots of fun together. Normal People leaves that bitter taste, and I just have to see them happy to feel better. But kudos to both of them, such amazing actors.

I watched 'Normal People' on BBC-iplayer and did not realise that Daisy is NOT Irish ...Until a few minutes ago - Normal People is just amazing. It 'felt' real from start to finish... I hadn't read the book before watching. Amazing acting, fantastic script and visually perfect.
