It's such a wierd phenomena if you actually consciously think about it. I had a bus ride that was almost perfect 40 minutes mostly express through a freeway. I would always wake up existing the free way which was 4 stops before mine. I've missed the stop maybe 3 times ever out of like 600.

100% true that your body knows when to give you a nudge on public transport while you're having 40 winks, especially if you've done the same journey a lot of times, it must remember the bumps and turns or the smell of the place you usually get off, Newcastle for example has a strong odour of pasties and blue drinks so I would instantly be woken up when the doors opened and it was a nasal explosion of Greggs and Blue Drink, and only ever carried on say once in 500 journeys

Such a brilliant and an intelligent actor, he makes us feel like we really know him well, wish for him to know us, & want to touch him... as if to validate the familiarity. I do not want to be with a person like Connell, but I think the character resonates so well with us because we all have a Connell and a Marianne within us. Not to mention Lenny! What a brilliant director! Also, I think Paul Mescal should be with Sally Rooney. Two brilliant people.
