Levy starts his videos by staring at us for two seconds. Nelson starts his videos by leaving the room for two minutes.

Black can force the Queen trade with Qe6 when capturing on f7 with the King has occurred. White would lose a piece in that line.

How do you not know move 4 of your line against Nc6 Sicilian (Nc3 is not one of the best moves)? If you put some effort into learning theory, maybe you’d make IM.

Man 1:23:39 game I couldn't understand why you didn't block his bishop with your bishop protected by your rook. Stockfish even showed it as a move (green arrow) later on and you skipped thinking about it even then while reviewing ;)
@MinotaurvsCyclops8 ай бұрын
You mean at 1:24:25? Because he would lose two pieces for one.
@davidrobertson19807 ай бұрын
No at 1:18:53, Nelson has THREE pieces covering F3 square, he could have blocked with the bishop here, exchanged bishops by recapturing with the knight. The rooks COULD get involved but not necessarily.@@MinotaurvsCyclops
@davidrobertson19807 ай бұрын
However it's like they would get involved as he would have a check on the white king and moving it could be disadvantagous since the knight then could ALSO capture the pawn on the edge of the board attacking the rook twice.
@davidrobertson19806 ай бұрын
@@MinotaurvsCyclops Actually no, at 1:23:06 after castling the rook sits on the F file protecting the square I expected the bishop to jump to "F3", effectively blocking the light square bishop he was most worried about later. Yeah sorry, the time I put in my first comment you replied to above was after he started the review - my bad. If the bishop takes then Nelson's rook would recapture and also attack the GG on the 3rd rank.
