The way you explained `pow` at 9:20 blew my mind - "glued to zero". I love when you drop these visual ways of thinking. Thank you so much

Yeah exponentiation is very useful for that. You can also glue things to 1 by 'flipping the number upside down' first, then gluing it to zero, then flipping again. e.g.: 1-(1-x)^k where x can be any function between 0 and 1

Sweet. I like the sand part. I remember watching a video where they had a snow shader. I wondered how they did the dynamic sparkling effect(not a static texture). Now I know one way to do it.

Yeah this whole idea came from me walking around in Canadian winter at night and observing the crazy snow sparkles :)

Nice i will try this new method for glitter, and apply it to the the 'The Universe Within' code... instead of the sparkles... will be my next code challenge... :-) Thank you for your great lessons!!!!!
