For the solo cruisers, Virgin is the best for that, I did solo with Celebrity Edge (Italy, France and Spain) and Virgin (Greece) in June and Virgin not only has no single supplement promotions but the most amount of solo people on, I met a group of women and we still talk after the cruise. We did an excursion together, and dinners every night. The first night, like most of the cruises, there is a solo get together and around 25 people or so attended. When I did Celebrity only 3 people showed up for the solo meet and greet.

Ben: We agree with you on KZbinrs not being honest in their assessments on cruise lines. One well known KZbinr I tell my wife that he is the Royal Caribbean "Apologist" or sometimes the Royal Caribbean "Rationalizer". He says he is not on their payroll but you wouldn't know it by the way he talks. You guys keep having a good time cruising and God Bless!

Went on msc Seascape, thought of you two & your review awhile back. Food is much better. Was talking to someone as I got off elevator , then was thinking "I know that voice" , looked at him again & said Are you a blogger ? He said " I might be & I said Are you Jay ? Hey --- my hubs and I are cruising on NCL Joy from L.A. to Miami on January 6, 2025 and we have reservations to go back from Miami to L.A. on a back-to back! The price was great and the two cruises DO duplicate some ports, but enough are different to make it interesting. I'd love to see Ben & David on one or both ... have the 2 of you DONE a back-to-back like that? Would make great content...... I did a Panama Canal cruise in about 2017 for 21 day ... New Orleans to Seattle .. LOVED it!!!!

We are on the NCL Pearl in Boston. Never left the harbor yesterday. New England/Canada itinerary being adjusted for Hurricane Lee hitting this coast…..Prince Edward Island and Bar Harbor main visits have been cancelled. And they will now try tendering in Sydney Nova Scotia……

I don't know Princess is for a particularly "older" crowd ... maybe a more "traditional" line.... it doesn't appeal much to me. I like more freestyle cruising offered by NCL and I adore the MSC Yacht Club. Although, I wouldn't cruise MSC in the rest of the ships.

Love RCL. My opinion only, I would rather have mediocre food and less choice than loose the great entertainment. There is always something fine to eat and quite frankly, eating less is better for me. More time to do things. I find it hard for me to book NCL,my other favorite line, because of all the cuts to theater shows.
