You can drive without a clutch. Just ask anyone who owns or have owned a Moto Guzzi. We have/had to. Back in 1984 I managed to bring my T3 850 California trough the city 15 minutes to a garage to fix the clutch. I probably wouldn't/couldn't do it today.

Dude, that’s just wrong with chucking the desert tortoise in the water. We were told, when I was training in Death Valley, NOT to pick up the desert tortoises because they pee as a defense and can easily die from dehydration. Yeah, he’s dead!!!
