The comfortability in this trade is beautiful. Understanding market context goes a LONG way, thank you!

I think this is the best live video I have watched that clearly shows the importance of supply/demand! The fact that you drew the zones BEFORE markets opens helps to realize that there is a percentage of market fluctuations that are predictable, and staying cool helps to face those 1-min variations (e.g., not closing when you see a pull-back). I was sad to see my cash unsettled this morning (Columbus day...), but did my homework, draw supply and demand zones with SPY and it would have worked perfectly for ~90% profits... Keep up the good work, it really helps!

Premium is dependent on delta. The premium you pay and it’s change of price is dependent on the delta. If you buy a 350$ call atm with a 57 delta for 3.23, and the price of the stock moves up 1$, you will make 57$, aka your premium for the option will change to 3.80.

Great vid! How do you choose strike/expiration for your SPY puts since you’re trading off /ES ? I’d love to hear your explanation and see whether you trade ATM, OTM or ITM also for expiration you do 0dte , thank you so much.
@carmine_rosato4 жыл бұрын
If /ES is in a zone, the chart will match up with SPY, so theoretically, you can look at SPY chart and gauge a good sense of where the price will go. Then choose strike/exp accordingly. Will play current week expiration Mon,Tue,Wed. Next week exp on Thurs and Fri. Never play 0dte unless I am scalping
@harrisabdullah95114 жыл бұрын
@@carmine_rosato so if for eg one is day trading. From Mon till Wed go with current week expiration. Then for Thursday and Friday go for the next week expiration? Is that correct, mate? Also do you go for ITM and ATM only. For scalping one usually goes for ITM or ATM. Can you please clarify what to go for when day trading. Thank you for everything.
@gn69053 жыл бұрын
@@harrisabdullah9511 use wtvr delta that is "stomachable" to your PnL - for instance, 1ATM 45-50 delta = 3x 15 OTM deltas. Yes, gamma will be different & thus delta sensitivity to spot mvmt, but scaling in/out > single contract. Tailor the net delta to your acct size, position size, tolerable risk. For instance, AMZN 5 delta option w/ few DTE vs a SPY similar delta will move radically different as AMZN is slalom skiing & SPY is country skiing, even though delta wise they're equal, the underlying isn't, & since delta is also a share equivalent, AMZN shares aren't SPY shares.
@gn69053 жыл бұрын
Actually SPY & ES have very diff px action chart - esp if using non-time based aggregatiom periods. Night & day. I do this exactly & use SPY range/tick bars, not ES.

Waves as in the strength of the pull .. up or down .. will tell you how much strength it will continue or discontinue. The shorter the down wave .. means no demand - a strong bounce to the upside will mostly happen. A shorter wave to the upside means no supply - meaning strong pull down will happen soon. @@juke1225
