How did you determine what your original buy premium would be, at $.80? Did you look at he regular option screens and review for strike price, POTM, B/A spread, etc and determine that $.80 was where you wanted to be? Then used AT to do your buy/sell? Also, how is the Supply and Demand shaded area determined? Is this proprietary to your training? Also, do you teach this?

Yes, you can visit investitrade.net for more info... BUT, if the premiums before buying are at .80, then I will be paying around $80 per contract. I use active trader for entries and exits. @carmine_rosato4 жыл бұрын
There is a way that you can exit an option contract when a stock reaches a certain price on TOS. I don't believe you can do it on active trader, so I keep all my stop losses mentally and will stop out when I see the stock hit my area where I'm proven wrong.

The supply zones.. are you marking them manually?
@carmine_rosato4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I am marking them manually. Finding imbalances on the chart from different time frames, marking those levels and waiting for price to revisit the origin location where there will be unfilled buy/sell orders sitting there
@carmine_rosato4 жыл бұрын
money mike it’s actually not like support and resistance at all. Support and resistance find an exact price on a chart where a stock was prevented from pushing through. Supply/demand is looking for order imbalances (low liquidity) areas on a chart where unfilled orders are sitting. You wait for price to enter zone, and enter once you see a reaction from either market participant. You’re buying wholesale and selling retail. Completely different from s/r, and you see things that you wouldn’t see if you just drew horizontal lines on your chart calling it support or res
@carmine_rosato4 жыл бұрын
money mike Support and resistance is an area where stock had trouble breaking through, such as exact price points on a chart. Let’s say bids stacking up at $100 and created a huge support level. Demand zones are areas where price created a demand imbalance where demand exceeds supply. Bc of an impulsive move out of an area, big $ cannot get filled their full position so the remaining orders will remain there. The demand zones are areas, that have been created by an imbalance once before. Support levels are exact price points where a stock could not move below before.

There is the option to "show sidebar in cells", which works when I have a two window setup, but when I expand to four windows they still only appear in the top two windows while the bottom two just show a gray empty area.

You have to go to customize grid in the flexible grid, and it will show an option to show sidebar!

@@carmine_rosato Thanks. The customizing the flexible grid seems to function similar to adding the sidebar when you toggle around in the "charts" view. Since my original msg I've messed around with it and if you don't have enough real estate in a given window the actual tabs will disappear but the gray bar will remain. If you adjust the window size they will appear. With this said, I'm on a laptop so the windows are smaller than desktop monitors which may not have that problem.

All about finding imbalances in a chart. When the market is balanced, you have an agreement between buyers vs sellers (liquidity). When price is imbalanced, we create a strong move since buyers>sellers or sellers>buyers (illiquid). When price revisits the imbalanced area, we have unfilled orders that must get filled and we traded based off those levels for a good risk/reward ratio

If it is later in the week, I will play the following week expiration if I’m looking to hold a position anything longer than let’s say 20-30 minutes. Kevin Li an imbalance is an illiquid area on a chart since all orders are on one side of the trade (buy or sell). Institutions cannot get all their orders filled at once. With certain candle formations and patterns on a chart, I identify these imbalances and gives me an area where the market can turn where there are a surplus amount of buy/sell orders waiting to be filled. I trade when price re enters these areas for a high probability, low risk trade setups
