What I don't understand about your trades is what your rationale behind the trades. You don't explain why you are shorting a stock wich has a massive momentum and huge gap up. Is there any fundamentals behind it? Previous resistance. The fact is that if a novice trader copies this, and go full throttle shorting 2000 shares with - 1800$ at a pont, alot of those trades are going to go red and eventually wipe out the account. When I see your videos it's fascinating to watch, but I don't feel like I learn anything Edit: Grammar

@@Mcool852that's exactly the point, most people are being taught strategies that are bound to lose money in the long run. Market conditions always change, and these breakouts often fail. There are many strategies for trading the market, gotta do what works with your personality. His strategy is high success rate, taking advantage of the spreads.

Yah he just enter and hope its going down. Because he has money to Ave down. That's why he exited 500 shares at 20.30 when his Ave price was at 20.33, to have more money to Ave down. Should learn to know if its long or short not just enter because he has money to Ave down. Ave down is good only for people who have heapz of money but still risky. Imagine if it gaps up really high. learn to trade in entering at the best entry by knowing if u should be short or long, its still the best way of trading. Otherwise u loss money. Anywayz, still good trade.

All traders DONT DO THIS. Clay was in 7000 shares at $20. That is $140,000 just to make $900. He wouldn’t be doing this if he wasn’t making money off that course. If he was a regular trader he would have run out of money long ago. This isn’t good money management clay and you know that. Nobody teaches that.

I know, it seems like wait longer and get in all at once based on candle stick patterns and trends. However, you do not really know what is coming, so this way, by averaging, ClayTrader seems to get it right majority of the times.

Thank you clay! I’m 19 years old and I’ve been interested in stocks since I was a freshman. Your videos have helped me so much to understand how stocks move. I’m going to keep my nose in the books and I know it will work out for me :) every time I express my interest in stocks to anyone I get shut down and get 100 reasons why it’s a bad idea. But it doesn’t bother me, hopefully in a few years you’re still on you tube so I can give you an update!

Thanks for the video. Serious question, not sure if I'd get an answer here but what do you do if you are wrong and the stock keeps going up? At what point do you start damage control? At some point you were holding 5k shares that's $100k. Do you keep averaging down/up until you hit some dollar/share amount?

The part I don't get is that while you're talking and giving us the play by play of the trade, you don't acknowledge for 5 seconds that you are down 4k with the potential to be down lots more in a matter of minutes or even seconds. Surely you have a cover price in your mind where you decide you can't take the pain and will be forced to cover the trade. Why not dedicate about 4 seconds of the 14 minute video and let your audience know what you have in mind? I get that it's your channel and your video and you can do anything you damn well please, but clearly you were in a very dangerous spot in the trade and it would be informative to tell us about an exit strategy had it continued against you. I'm certain you had one in mind. Either way, I love the videos!

I never put 100k to make $900, I usually making 500-700 on swing trade using $6000-$8000. I currently long ROKU 200share @33.80 stp firmly attach 33 stop, worse case I lose $160+slippage, looking 38 and potential 39, by that my risk/reward defined. P.s...Hope for green result.:-)
