The machine that changed it all. Nice seeing you out with it. The ergonomics alone has given me the ability to hunt longer even with a 54 year old body with TONS of mileage. Giving me the itch to pull it out.

There is something special with those high frequency coils on the Deus 1. I have found so much gold with those coils.

i just charged this coil today i tried to i put charging clip on coil was flat and some of the charging clips just dont like when the coil cover is on it makes it want to not be tight where the pins contact the coil i elevated the front of the coil up like one inch off flat floor where it was charging so then re charged it it worked its done that to me in the past

My coil light on my 9" D2 coil failed on me this morning. The coil still works and has a charge. The standby and charging light is burned out. I have it on the charger right now hopefully it is charging. I might have to send it in for warranty.

What volume do you run your Deus II on? I have mine all the way up to 9 and it still does not seem like its very loud. I dont think my hearing is gone.....Lol.

I always have my D2 remote volume at 9. The speaker on the D2 remote is much louder than the D1 remote. I think the volume at 9 is just right so the tonal quality does not degrade on the overload tone.

Paystreak I'm not understanding why you would use such a high frequency if you are coin hunting. Aren't you limiting depth?

I am limiting depth on coins but not by much. Higher frequencies do struggle with high conductive coins on edge but the small jewelry and low conductors stand out when in the higher frequencies. I was still finding deep coins and pultabs in 54khz.
