OK aircraft I would like to see in large-scale is the Pilatus PC-21, I love the T28 Trojan but nothing flies like the Pilatus PC-21. Do it in a 2.1m size with a 5 blade prop and AS3X would be amazing Jason! The aircraft already flies on Rails but Ya'll can make it even better! If anybody here has flown a PC-21 model you know you can agree. :)

I own the 2.0mtr large scale original but, discontinued T28-Trojan and find that they are Both far and between being similar in flight control and one is a sports aircraft (carbon z V2.0 and the Other more a scale flyer (Trojan T28).

Great plane, I have had at least 15 good flights on it already, and a few crashes, just glues or use epoxy and figer glass( for the landing gear mount), goes right back together. Only complaint is how the wings keep on separating from the fuselage at the top. Seems like a few more flights and they will just pop out permanently. The thumb screws cannot hold the, anymore. They just keep on moving further and further out of the hole.

Jason Q: why don't Eflite release more aircraft with authentic see thru cockpits. I understand the strength factor but the designers should be able to overcome this by now...IE: Turbo Timber, this plane, Cessna 150 Z etc. When I buy the Cherokee, Maule, new jets, they look awesome and just give each model that special finish.

Great looking plane, I hope to get one soon. Just a thought, you could very easily improve the assembly of the wing struts. Instead of two awakward pin's on each side, use one twin with a spring clip. Like those old keyring clips. You just push the top to move the side pin in. That would be a pretty simple mod and make it super easy to assemble out of the car, and no tiny clips to loose in the grass.

In my opinion compared to the original version 1 it's technically not even the same aircraft, version 2 is insanely good right out the box, don't even hesitate getting one pilots! Flies on like butter on rails so hard to explain. If that makes any sense? lol.

Im having problems. The throttle doesnt kick in before almost half stick. So i need to calibrate the ESC. But it wont calibrate. Is this due to the AS3Xa?? Do i need to do it with another receiver??

My motor broke in 10 days horizon say 3 bearings??? I opened the motor only 2 bearings inside. So why???

The plane is so nice with lots of awesome modifications and upgrades but one thing that i dont understand from you HH Gentlemen is why dont you make the real see through cockpit???? You did it with the Maule which made me broke my promise to myself that I am not buying anymore planes because I was soooo captivated by its looks with a real cockpit. Wanting a new transmitter but I'm stuck between the ix12 and nx10 spektrums which would you get? Also seen alot of reviews on radiomaster tx16

NX10 is a bit less complex than iX12 and still has plenty of channels and features that most people will never outgrow! Outside of that, if you prefer a touchscreen and Android interface iX12 is the way to go.

And although the RTF version is geared toward beginners, the BNF Basic version is perfect for intermediate to advanced pilots! Ron Elliott no, this is not a first airplane, it could be a second one, but better a third one. Check out the carbon cub RTF or the apprentice/mini apprentice, or the umx champ or cub, but there is a lot more trainer airplanes like the bixler, etc.

Love the look of this plane and the size seems just right as well. For me the safety tech means one thing. I can fly..hahaha! just wondering can a camera like a gopro or a FPV camera be mounted? also is there a light kit for it as well? The reason I ask is I have a 6 yr. old grandson who has gone through two high end RC trucks, 4 boats and 2 planes of varying skill levels from beginner to expert. mastered them all and now he won't go near them because as he put it they bore him. So I'm hoping something like this will respark his interest again. It's either this or I'm gonna have to buy him the real thing..

Hi, I have this plane, after some QC control issues I have it assembled. The motor looks like it's pointing to the left, it should be straight or to the right. What are the thoughts behind this? I've asked this on rcgroups and some other have this to. Can you please help? I'm afraid to fly it. With the maiden it extremely banks to the left. I have the pnp so no as3x problem

If they won't do that and give you a replacement aircraft or refund after returning it, then Sue their asses! This planes aren't cheap and it is disrespectful on their part to do that to their clients...

Hello, I went looking for the new motor to put in my blue carbon z cub. You didn't change the part number. You should be kicked out of the aircraft line. If I go to my local shop they will sell me the old motor. If I call tech support they will sell me the old motor. I did call them and they told me the number had not changed and I had to send them a link to this video.

Very easy to fly. Better in the wind than an apprentice. Tail daggers land easier imo.

If you're practiced with your ground rudder work you will be fine. This plane is very docile and forgiving but does need some rudder work on the ground

In looking at this plane from directly in front, (in the video), it doesn't look like it have any dihedral. does this make it difficult to fly?

This is a very stable plane especially when using AS3x. If you have mastered a high wing trainer with it without dihedral you can handle this.

Dihedral basically gives you some self righting ability. With a flat wing you have to fly the plane and level wings yourself is all.

With safe select activated all you have to do is let go of the sticks and it will level itself out.

We do NOT recommend this model as a trainer! It could be a good second but would be a better third model after learning to fly with something like the HobbyZone Carbon Cub S 2 1.3m ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZjWomuMhr-lfZo ) then moving up to the Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4ekp5ibg9d3jLs ).

Not in particular. It's a perfect second plane, however. Take a look at the Apprentice STS, the Aeroscout, or the Carbon Cub S+ for a first plane.

HorizonHobbyProducts yes that’s what I bought my daughter but she says it’s a. Little small to see she flys high up and now has been bringing down closer to the ground. She’s only 9 but flys great she started with drones now carbon cub s+ but she keeps saying something bigger would help her see it. So was just curious. We don’t know all the Lingo but she flies with me in both of my real planes and so I think she got the concept very fast she also takes control on my real aircraft once we are up at altitude of corse Im on the other stick but literally she flys great she has only wrecked her RC plane twice and I thought this might be a good step what are your thoughts.
