I was the guy at 9:30 with the orange mando helmet, I was so excited to see her that I didn't even notice he was there. I had worn my actual cosplay costume Saturday and I got a picture with her in it but I missed the signing because the expo did such a bad job with the lines and how they were formed I had to wait 9+ hours with my legs that had half an inch length difference because my hips rolled out so I was in a mountain of pain and I had to get the Hobbits signatures because I didn't think I was going back Sunday. I had to wait in line 9+ hours to get 4 signatures and the last one I almost didn't make. Also the there were 2 staff that were really rude and mean to me and a good couple other people so it was not the best experience for my first con but I did make a friend who held my stuff while I laid on the floor of the line because it hurt to much to stand and I was really happy with the people I met and the actors themselves they were awesome and so nice unlike 2 of the staff which actual yelled at me and got an attitude with one of the actors. Anyways this has carried on long enough so point is I had a lot of fun but fanexpo was definitely a shit show when it came to the lines for the actors that played the Hobbits. Ps I then found a dude who had screwed me over a couple years ago and didn't recognize me so I talked shit about him literally 5 feet from him and I wasn't quiet.

There's some $erious poetical justice in the fact that both Obi-Wan Kenobi (very sadly) and Lightyear are not netting the kind of overall $uccess they expected, while Gina's Terror On The Prairie debuted to positive response, both critically (those who actually watched the film) and from viewers. Disney/Lucasfilm Ltd. are doing their old new tricks again, to control the narrative of which fans are important to their IPs, while Gina gets to take a victory lap around the country. That's where they're doing autographs. But they aren't up close. And a video at the far side of the lines that just shows crowd and the names of the celebs there is free advertisement. It won't stop people from coming but encourage people to come. Unless they are acting like tools. Banning people from taking footage in the boonies makes about as much sense as WB copyright striking channels for playing trailers for their movies.
