Logan Blanc You hit the nail right on its head. In the first three McClane did some crazy things but not without showing some vulnerability. He was clearly scared of jumping off a skyscraper, or fighting on the wing of a plane, or surviving a train crash. In 4 and 5 he's like a one man army of destruction and he's got this I got it under control type vibe going for him. Not to mention that he would never go after the bad guys, but he would leave it to the pros to handle. Not so much here since for some reason he tells the kid there's no one else but him who can save the day.

It's simple what they've done. They went all the way in with action, making John look like some fearless superhero-like action figure. The movie sold well, looked different than first three movies, but eventually it ended the franchise, because where do you go from here? You go nowhere from here. Fighter only has one 20mm cannon in the port wing root, it doesn’t sound like that and it sure as hell isnt on the bottom of the intakes also the 35b can’t do that and it’s vertical fan cover doesn’t look like that

And if this was a realistic experience, a jet fighter wouldn't be shooting their machine gun at a truck. However this is an action movie not based upon anything particularly realistic, so it doesn't matter at all where an F16 fighter jets guns shoot from.

this movie was filmed in 2006 and released in 2007.... during development of the f-35B ??? How or why did the US govt and lockheed martin allow design and plans to be given to hollywood? Plane didnt go into service until 2015 with the military ?? was this some kind of agenda for funding? The new top gun film also showed a new top secret plane several years before it release!!! WHY DO THEY DO THIS?
