@@loriholloway5866 If you want to see the world's greatest supergroup, check out "The Best," featuring Joe Walsh and Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, guitar; John Entwistle of The Who, bass; Keith Emerson of ELP, keys; Simon Phillips, drums; and some dude I never heard of before on vocals, but who can sing his ass off. They only ever toured Japan, and played an entire set of music from their various bands. Walsh became great friends with Entwistle. He said that on that tour, Entwistle was the only one still living a rock and roll lifestyle and partying too hard. He warned him repeatedly that it would catch up with him, and it did. I've seen Joe Walsh say some pretty sad things about the loss of John Entwistle. It was a damn shame.

Walsh and BB King go back a long way. Bill Szymczyk produced the both of them for years, and introduced them to each other in the early 1970s. Walsh guested on a number of BB King records and they've had a life-long musical relationship.

Joe is a miracle - it is a miracle he isn’t dead from all the partying he did. I heard him in one interview when he described talking to a rocker from another band and learning that he and/or the Eagles had toured with the other band. Joe knew it was real because the other rocker had concert posters from different venues during the road tour. Joe was so stoned during the tour he had no memory of ever doing any of the concerts. I think some of the members of the Eagles insisted that he go to rehab and get clean. He is still an fabulous guitar player and rocker.

Hey man, and anyone who wishes they started sooner on music: you're still growing up and you're still getting older, always time to build that kind of experience for yourself! Let me say, one of the things I'm most glad I ever did was get my way into playing in a low-key cover band where me and these 5 guys, each with like 40+ years on me and plenty of musical experience, would just get together every week at our equivalent of Daryl's House and go through songs like this, songs that they knew from way back in the day and that I'd grown up on thanks to some good influence from my parents. Music is amazing on it's own, but you're on the right track with this appreciation for this kind of environment, there's really nothing like trying a classic song with a fun band and having it all come together. Nothing but love.
