What a dazzling treat to have such esteemed masters like Buster and Lenny along with the progeny of another master - the son of Wallace Roney who will be a force of nature in the Jazz kingdom, grace the private yet now, famous go-to Jazz venue that is Emmett's Place with the phenomenal Emmett himself exuding his charm, warmth, and outrageous skills on the piano!!! Fabulishous!!!!

Each day as released a new delight is unleaded. Emmit plays as well as one could locked away practicing 20 Hours a Day. Lenny White it’s been a while and he’s like fine Wine gets better with age. He plays difficult parts in fact so much so very few could even attempt them. What a treasure!!!!

Tokudo reminds me of "Brain Training" (in Jazz in the Garden: Stanley Clark, Lenny White and Hiromi Uehara).

Lenny is riding with his left hand!!! Is this a thing he does?
@TK-xo2mf2 жыл бұрын
Yes. He is left handed but learned on a "right handed kit". He has always played that way. He swings so hard on this. I love that ride cymbal sound too. Agop Epoch.

What are you talking about? A lot of Emmet's stuff releases on Spotify is a lot of traditional jazz but he's ALWAYS playing like this during his lives. Creative, outside, fresh, and intense.
