We've been RVing for at least 20 years. We been through 5 different Trailers. We are currently fifth wheelers. We love it because our home goes with us and allows us the freedom to go as we please. Pretty soon you two will want to see the country and doing it in the RV is the best way. Glad to hear you are loving it and safe travels.

@@MsPrecious61 We spend on an average trip around 1300 to 1500 on gas. That is usually a two month trip. Yes it is high, but once we get out of California we feel that we hit the jackpot. I have a gas truck, which I wanted. Diesel is as much as gas if not higher and the maintenance is a lot more expensive too. I get around 9 to 11 mpg which depends on road, weather and elevation. I'm very happy with it and I would say to anyone, find what you want so you feel safe and happy with what you have. Safe Travels.

I was just there at the beginning of May for the first time. Stayed at a condo in Orange Beach while my friend camped at the State Park. Great place. Go to Lulu's and Lambert's. Both can't miss restaurants.

Good Times! You are correct that it just takes a bit of maintenance to keep your RV in pristine condition. We have kept ours for 11 years & it looks brand new. My husband replaces any small parts that need it right when it breaks.

I've lived by Gulf Shores my whole life (actually born in the little town of Foley right above it) . My father-in-law called it "America's best kept secret" even though the first time he saw it was right after Hurricane Ivan in total devastation. Make sure you go to LuLu's--my son Jake works there! (Even though we're vacationing in Atlanta this week--a short 5 hour drive for us!) And don't forget OWA in Foley (pretty good rides there)and Alligator Alley in Summerdale(stay for feeding time!)

Well I am grateful even though these are small we can go anywhere anytime we save a little because it sips gas compared to a huge Rig. Mine needs repairs sometimes my Air Conditioner started leaking water and I learned that the mounting screws were loose. So I removed the cover and a friend tightened them up and presto no more problem.

Thank you for the five month update on your Gemini. I just picked ours up two weeks ago. Our was back ordered until September, but another customer lost their financing and we were able to pick this one up instead. It is the same interior as yours, and is a 2022 model. We have had it out one weekend, so far and another one this weekend. We too love the Gemini, even with the small issues. Really enjoy your videos!

If you love that area come a little further past PCB on HWY 98 and you will hit Mexico Beach and Port St Joe. Beautiful area of white sandy beach no huge condos and friendly people. Look it up it's paradise and we call it home.

You need to drive inland a couple miles to Foley AL. Eat at Lamberts. They throw rolls at you. Go very hungry! Not expensive. I think they are cash only. Not sure if that has changed.

Hey you guys should try Cherry Stone campground on the Eastern shore it’s in Virginia you go across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel and you will absolutely love that campground it is a KOA but it’s right on the water and it’s just phenomenal

I put a 30 amp charger at two of my friends places so I can go and plug in and just pay on the electric bill so one is in Florida and I am in California then I bought a little place in south Texas, very affordable and put an RV plug on it. So I have some places to go and others as well

I sure hope my husband will change his mind, he hates road trips. We are newley empty nesters, I thought RV travel would be fun so I bought a '24 Class C, Winnebago Vita. He's putting on a happy face for me, but he would much rather fly to a destination. I'm not opposed to flying or cruising ;) but we've been stuck home, because of you know what. First trip is planned in a couple weeks, driving from Oregon to Disneyland!! I'm hoping to book a cruise soon, I can't wait!!
