Gulf Shores is a hidden gem. Girlfriend and I moved here less than 2 weeks ago. We looked in Pensacola but when we visited the Gulf Shores in April we fell in love with this place instantaneously. Glad you enjoyed your visit

As a born in Bama girl..i have been to beaches in California..south Carolina..maryland....nobody has beaches like Gulf shores....those sandy white gorgeous beaches are amazing...i love this place..clean...spread out. .its breath taking at sunset and sunrise

We go there every Christmas and stay a week. We're from kc, mo. We go to that dollar general several times a day. We stay at the townhouse right on the ocean. It's wonderful!!!!!!

The water actually gets better than that. It's a bit green and murky. I went after Christmas and it was absolutely gorgeous. There were some brave people in the water. It was very clear and the blue went farther out. The water clarity depends on a lot of things. I love your RV and your video.

Spent the first week of June in Gulf Shores (our first time as well). Traffic was a bit crazy but the beach was awesome (kids collected lots of great shells). We just may go back again! Oh, and it rained most of the drive down for us as well (from Indiana).

I'm telling my age..went to florab many times in the 80s and early 90s. It has grown over the years after being hit by many a storm. It was a hole in the wall but always had a diverse group of patrons. I remember entering through a liquor store . Gulf Shores has a great beach except for when the jelly fish are out! Great video!

Area looks pretty nice, was thinkin of moving from the west to S Florida, but that looks a whole lot closer. I was in Pensacola maybe a year ago and as I recall it was all closed down pretty much, so I didn't really appreciate the area I guess, but did not go over to that area. I'm from a lake town and miss the water, and love that tent, what brand is it, does that front flap close up too?
