I love his approach, phrasing, energy, an the way he intertwines different styles into the blues. Plus, few people can make a Telecaster sound as good as him.

slaying it, just love the blend of basic blues rock with flashes of jazzy harmonic ideas, great player, great melodic flow and a style of his own. awesome.

I grew up in New Orleans and The Maple Leaf was my regular hangout until I moved to Austin. Definitely a locals place. I even went to high school right there in Uptown. Sounded awesome...maybe a version of Hey Pocky Way? Thanks for sending one from the road Guthrie!

Guitarwise you're one of the best guys around, and I think you're the best today. Please work on conveying a "message" that some "wider"/steady audience can identify with. Think Pink Floyd, think Rolling Stones. And it's really not all about bending strings. All your great arpeggios, that I love, convey little new "message" to the wider audience, Duane Allman has already harmonized the blues-rock in the late 60s. But I am sure you can find your own niche just like John Scofield did!!
