Thanks for the trip up the tor! I got to see the mists of avalon - that was wonderful, and the sheep! At about 13:23 as you're walking back up to the tor there's a magical view in which the light is silvery-gold and the tower looks flat and it looks like there's nothing beyond the crest of the hill. It must be Avalon appeared among us! I had no idea where cheddar gorge was, but now I know. That's where cheddar man was found - the oldest discovered human skeleton in the British Isles. DNA allows speculation that he had green eyes and black skin and was among the original inhabitants of the area. Loved the rain! Thanks again for taking us along.
