1. Learnt something about runes 2. Learnt something about the Odinn 3. Enjoyed the humour of the speakers This was an hour well spent.

I was also raised southern Baptist. My grandfather was a pastor for years, and my family still doesn't believe in dinosaurs or gravity. "Dinosaur bones were put here to test your faith." 😵💫🤢

I love the "what's properly?" question because that could've meant "has there been some welcome ceremony" (which since it's not your religion you might not even want) and it could've been what it turns out to be of "have folks treated you kindly" (which you can say yes to) and you took that question with the same academic humility of not wanting to presume you knew too much about others' practices that you apply to your interpretation of runes, and answered as soon as you were sure you understood but not before.

The cult house in Uppåkra, Scania, Sweden was built around 200 AD and stayed until 900 AD. This is near the current city Lund. An Oden statue has been found there.

@jacksonCrawford I hate to say it but I think you need to market a little more. I'm a subscriber who lives near SLC and had no idea you were coming until this video was posted. I'm feeling left out :(
