There are many books that make great reading. An old one that I found very helpful was 'The Anxious Enquirer' by John Angel James. One that I hope to find is The Imitation of Christ by Thomas a Kempis.

Christians vs Catholic: Christians ask our Heavenly Father God in Jesus name for forgiveness of sins or directly ask Jesus for forgiveness, Catholic’s ask Priest to forgive their sins. Christians pray in Jesus’s name to Father God, Catholic’s pray through Mary and Saints to get to Jesus and Father God. Christians believe in grace through faith not of works, Catholics believe in works and purgatory. Catholicism is a false gospel, only God can forgive sins, and only one mediator between God and man and He is Jesus Christ, and we can not earn salvation only receive it.💝 1 Timothy 2:5👑 “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,”

​@@harryfaber Sounded pretty spot on from the conversations o have had with Catholics and former Catholics. There is nothing biblical about the rosary. Nothing biblical about praying to any saint for any reason. Nothing biblical about sprinkling baptisms for babies. Nothing in the bible about a purgatory that your family can pray you out of after you pass away. All of which are things the Catholic religion practices.

@@TadTheTinker What is the rosary? Is is the physical beads with the Crucifix or is it the set of prayers that are said while using the rosary just to 'manage' the contemplation? The prayers are very Biblical. No one 'prays' to a saint, they pray with a saint just as you pray with your friends, family and congregation. Infant Baptism is fine where the family support it and will help the child grow with Christ, I have to confess that I have seen too many of them that are simply an excuse for a party afterwards. I do get a little uneasy with 'purgatory' and 'indulgences', that said, they are not pushed as hard as they used to be. The Catholic Church puts Christ front and centre of all services, buildings, rituals and long may that continue. For me, the big issue with the RC Church is that many of the congregation are lazy and leave way too much in the sole hands of their priest. It does seem to me that too many go to Church because 'grandma wants us to' rather than to worship God in the right spirit. That is not a teaching of the Church, but it is a practice for many of the congregation. Too many RCs will mistakenly quote scripture and dogma as indeed will too many non-RCs. Too many take a view that only RCs are in 'the Church', which is not what the Pope said! I attend a Catholic Church because where I live it is the only Church, that said, if ever I return to England, I don't think I could go back to the C of E, that has strayed rather a distance from Biblical teachings of late.

It is written: Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." This often happens at the time of death and is clearly seen when the criminal that was crucified with Christ asked Him for forgiveness and Jesus said to him "Today you will be with me in Paradise"

I don't often disagree with Dr. Turek but Peter's name at 2:12:08 does not mean "rock", it means "stone"; and there is a big difference. RED FLAG - Surprisingly, Frank mentions a "free" Bible software website, blue letter bible, which has a lot of content from Chuck Smith. Be very careful of this man's teachings, as with any other "man's" teachings, to make sure it is God's teachings. I thought this was great to recommend until I saw Chuck's name and then did a "little" research; but he is the only teacher there who, at a quick glance. concerned me. Remember, nothing is "free" in this world. Even salvation cost Jesus His life to make it free for us.

Dr Frank Turek is an amazing man of God. I like Him. But ☝️ theologically when He says certain Scriptures where not meant or intended for you ? But specifically to a certain people group? at a particular time or event, and that is true, however... It also begs the question, then why would Father God give us a Bible ? If All scripture is God breathed and intended for us. timothy 2 😚 Jesus is Alive!!! ⛪️💕🏃‍♂️💨🌍
