You wish that an unhealthy sexual perversion was okay with God, but it's not and God knows best? Is this intellectual dishonesty or are you so affected by our society that you cannot clearly see the devastation for the individual and for the community at large, so much so you declare that you personally wish God was fine with it all? That is not brotherly love! ISAIAH 58:1 that is Philadelphian love. Christ WARNS the church in Laodicea. REVELATION 3:1-19.

I’ll argue that if you think of God in the context of the trinity that he can and has made a rock that he cannot lift. In fact he has made billions. In the bible they say that Jesus came as human but was no less a part of the trinity. Jesus is still god but at least in his baby stage he hadn’t the mental capacity to preform miracles. I’m not sure if that statement is correct and if a real expert knows something more please share. Don’t take my argument as fact. Just some food for thought.

Another good way to look at this would be that the best interpreter of scripture is scripture. So there’s a continuity from start to finish. As a result it allows want to take a step back and still see a big picture even if a little piece of scratched out here or there. Not only is there continuity from start to finish, but it’s basically the world’s first hyperlinked document. It so thoroughly cross references with itself, thats it’s impossible to blow her the message if a couple verses are wrong or missing. it’s like if you had a giant 25,000 piece puzzle of the United States. How many pieces would you be able to take out of the puzzle and still be able to tell it’s a map of the United States? Probably 25%. Sure you wouldn’t have the intricate detail. But you can still see the big picture.

We can still have a cause for life here on earth without God but I also agree that God causing the Big Bang would not mean we found any intelligent life outside of earth. It's very likely that life does exist somewhere else in the universe and it is not remote as in life existing only here. Actually everywhere in the universe, the elements and conditions for life are very common. I do not see how the universe alone is evidence or that fine tunning is evidence that he exists, at least not good evidence that we can confirm. We and the moral law are also not evidence, I disagree that there is "plenty of evidence". I don't agree with just about everything Frank and the kid said in this video.

ALL OF THE ABOVE!!! That is, if you're willing to be honest and open about it. I'm not a Theologian, but I believe God graced me with discernment to keep me from being misled or redirecting me if I do wander off in the wrong direction. I've studied with Catholics and the "base", or early Protestants. I could write a novel on each and every subject, that's only an inkling of how complicated it is, so there's no way to give any short answers. I will say, however, that there is good and bad in EVERY Church because we're all human. On one hand, God speaks to each one of us differently. We're all at different levels of spiritual maturity. We each have different backgrounds of experiences and education. To that end, there are times a person needs to read the Bible ourselves and leave the conversation between God and that individual. On the other hand, it's very easy for a seeker or baby Christian to misinterpret what they read or have questions. In that case, I personally find it better to speak with someone and share what THEY got out of it. I prefer that as opposed to a very brief reading of scripture followed by an hour ling interpretation of those verses by the pastor. This can also include the sermon accompanied by "let's turn to Chapter and verse" as a way of backing up THEIR interpretation. On the other hand, there does need to be some sort of an accountability for every church. There are way too many people out there doing whatever they want, and I'm referring to very bad things. There's a lot of criticism about the wealth in the Catholic Church, but y'all need to visit other churches. It's not only become a billion dollar industry, but sadly, it's also become a front for human trafficking and other things. Now, the Catholic Church. We all know there's been some bad eggs withe Church, Papacy included. While those issues make the news and history books, be assured that there are a lot of wonderful Catholics. Although there are certainly important differences in teachings and beliefs, some that do matter tremendously, but there are a lot of things where these is no right or wrong, but there are many different aspects to consider. For example, many of you are adamant that NO ONE can enter heaven without being Baptized, yet you dismiss this when it comes to life beginning at the moment of conception. It's not life until God breathes into a soul, correct? If not, then allow abortion. If so, does God condemn an aborted or miscarried soul to hell simply over the technicality of Bapitism? I hardly believe anyone sees that as a loving and merciful God, However, does that mean we should say there's no spiritual benefit to Baptism? I could go on and on, but I hope I made my point about not being enemies over your differences

@maxhagenauer244 сағат бұрын
Why on earth would you expect it to pop up all over the unvierse if there was no God? That's not how life works, you need to have the right elements and right conditions like earth has for life to live. If anything, if God made life and a unvierse so big then I would almost expect him to put more life in it and be more common then, but even then, at least I'm not taking that as a serious argument against the existence of God.

I've been studying this much of my life, and a LOT in depth over the last while, and none of what he just said here was proof that Yahusha (proper way to say Jesus) was actually the most high God. He did not even quote one scripture that proved his point. This is just a bunch of "wisdom of the world", which is foolishness with God. Also you may want to look up the Greek and Hebrew word for "God" and what it ACTUALLY means, you'll find that it has been used to also descibe Angels, Kings, Magistrates, and Judges!, so the word translated "God" is NOT enough to prove that Yahusha was "the most high". Also the Most high was ONLY ever used to speak of the father and NEVER Yahusha (Jesus)!. Also in John 1:1 when speaking of the Father it says "Ha Theos" THE GOD (G3588 & G2316), and when referencing Yahusha (the word) it does NOT use the definite article "THE" but just uses Theos, which again I say was used in the bible to reference anyone in authority!. I have THOROUGHLY studied this topic, and all arguments that Yahusha (Jesus) is the most high and not created, all fall apart under scrutiny. It is a hollow doctrine built on the biggest house of cards ever. Oh and when I entered into seeking out the answer I was open to either being true, but now after many years, and many hours of research, I now have basically no doubt that the trinity doctrine and the idea that Christ (Yahusha ha Mashiac) is God, to be not based in scripture, and I now believe that he was in fact the first to be created!. (Col 1:15). Anyone can come to the same conclusion if you truly look into the topic seeking the TRUTH over confirmation bias, along with prayer for guidance.. I have found that Trinitarians use a very small handful of scriptures, and yet the amount of scripture I have compiled that prove the other way around to be not even close, and just a massive amount of evidence to the contrary in comparison, and all arguments I've heard have been able to have been explained away by looking into the original word definitions in Hebrew and Greek. Just one example is that scripture says that God CANNOT be tempted!, PERIOD!, and yet Yahusha WAS tempted by the devil after being in the wilderness for 40 days and nights!?. If he were TRULY God, he would have been unable to be tempted, because again as scripture says GOD DOES NOT CHANGE. Now to argue this, one has to do a LOT of talking and theorizing which takes you away from scripture and into theology, but when you stick to the scriptures and use common sense logic, it simply cannot be taken any other way. I have 10 pages of documented examples, and scriptures like this proving beyond the shadow of a doubt for me that Yahusha was created and is God's SON and nothing more. :)

No such thing as outer space or other planets. Maybe look to your own Bible which describes the Hebrew Conception of the Universe, which is similar to what every other ancient culture believed as to the basic structure of the earth. There is evidence of a creator/creators and evidence of spiritual beings, but no evidence as to which religion is correct, possibly all religions all false.

Its true that the old testiment had a different taste lets say. God used to punish back then, after Jesus paid for all sins He doesnt punish anymore otherwise His Son's sacrifice would not make any sense. I just wanted to point it out to people so that they know that Jesus/God loves you and has forgiven all of your sins. repent, believe and know for sure that God loves you and wont punish you for your sins (any bad stuff would be the result of you reap what you saw or the evil world we live in)

The doctrine of the rapture was not taught in the Old Testament, which is why Paul calls it a “mystery” now revealed: “Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed-in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). Whether there is a distinction between the rapture and the second coming is a matter of much debate. Some Christians believe that the rapture is to be distinguished from the second coming of Jesus Christ. At the rapture, the Lord comes “in the clouds” to meet us “in the air” (1 Thessalonians 4:17). At the second coming, the Lord descends all the way to the earth to stand on the Mount of Olives, resulting in a great earthquake followed by a defeat of God’s enemies (Zechariah 14:3-4). Other Christians believe the biblical warrant for separating the rapture from the second coming is lacking. Further, even among those who believe the rapture is a separate event from the second coming, there is a significant amount of debate regarding when the rapture will occur in relationship to the tribulation. The primary interpretations on this aspect of the rapture discussion are pretribulationism, midtribulationism, pre-wrath, and posttribulationism. The rapture of the church, though, is not supposed to be a divisive issue. Rather, the rapture is a glorious event that, according to Scripture, we should all be longing for. We will finally be free from sin. We will be in God’s presence forever. There is far too much debate over the meaning and scope of the rapture. This is not God’s intent. Rather, the rapture should be a comforting doctrine full of hope; God wants us to “encourage one another with these words” (1 Thessalonians 4:18).

I'm tired of hearing Dr Flowers always referring to election in the terms of national Israel. Yes Israel has an election with a certain purpose, but it's not salvific. How can a person go through Romans chapter 8 which clearly speaks about all believers and how they are saved to chapter 9 talking about national Israel ? This is not consistent reading of the text. Romans 8:31-39 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? [32] He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? [33] Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies; [34] who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. [35] Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? [36] Just as it is written, "For YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED." [37] But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. [38] For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, [39] nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 9:1-8 I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience testifies with me in the Holy Spirit, [2] that I have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart. [3] For I could wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh, [4] who are Israelites, to whom belongs the adoption as sons, and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Law and the temple service and the promises, [5] whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Christ according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen. [6] But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; [7] nor are they all children because they are Abraham's descendants, but: "through ISAAC YOUR DESCENDANTS WILL BE NAMED." [8] That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants.
