My favourite live vocal mic. I remember when I switched to this mic, I no longer had to do any eq to my vocals. It just sounds nice and clear, warm and full.

Hi Aaron. Caught up today on the livestream and thoroughly enjoyed it. I've been using an SM58 for at least 30 years and it's never let me down (not the same one) but I might just try out the e935, especially as it's quite inexpensive. Regarding the PA, our trio have used 2 Bose L1 Mkll for a number of years now and they have never let us down. Sometime we take just one, depending on the venue but never needed a monitor. We also use two Tonematch's The bass player goes though his amp although sometimes we put him in one of the tonematches. For solo work I take either my S1 pro or the Bose Compact, and the Tonematch

I replaced my Shure SM58 with the Sennheiser e935 almost two years ago and I’ve got no regrets!

Like most here (probably) I used the SM58 for years. about 10 years ago my bandmate gifted me a Beta 58 and until I watched this video, I never realized Beta meant Betta. :)

Thanks for the stream, Aaron. Recently discovered your channel, and really enjoying it. I think I'll be watching regularly, as we seem to have similar taste in gig gear - e935 mic, TCH Live Acoustic, Maton guitars, QSC speakers - so it's interesting to hear your perspective on other things as well. Out of curiosity, what do you use for a mixer these days? I have an A&H Zed12FX, and an old Yamaha MG08 as backup.

Thanks! I have been looking for a mixer. For the rare band shows I play I would take my old Line 6 M20D. I’ve been looking out for a good replacement.
