Having been in a situation like this before, I attempted to use my verbals first in hopes of avoiding physical, the other person didn't take a hint after 2 warnings and it got physical after. Would have really liked to see Will use the verbals first, even if it was face to face. But to go right to physical is where he lost his class. He's human, don't want to diminish his humanity, but hopefully a teachable moment for all of us.

Dan made a comment that the amount of people that are 4'3 and 116 lbs that said they would slap the shit out of someone if they were disrespected and they made a joke about that person being jacked, which was kinda funny because I think Dan was trying to use what he thought would be the smallest dimensions and was very wrong. But as for the core of his comment, I'm a short man. I'm 4'10 and somewhere between 110-120 lb's depending on how strict I am with my diet and exercise regimen. I've let a lot of disrespect go and in my 30's I can intellectualize and rationalize that lack of response and say that violence or even a hostile verbal response would've only escalated the situation (which is true). But I also knew that if I had escalated the situation it would not have gone well, a feeling I would not always have if I was a foot taller.
