It’s LONG past time to ditch parliamentarian rules in hearings and adopt new, modern - easy to understand & easy to participate in. Very few people understand the current system - including committee chairs & co-chairs, which only leaves room for abuse and frustration. Most people will tune this out and it’s important dialogue.

I hope so! My health and in turn life has been torn apart because I was told that shot was safe and effective and it was my duty to get it to protect those around me. A year of daily headaches which more often than not, turned into migraines, and the permanent loss of feeling in my fingertips left me feeling like I was crazy because I would search and search to find out if Moderna was the cause and was not able to find a single article or conversation about side effects. 6 months in, I found a thread of comments from a bunch of people with the exact same symptoms as I had, after hitting “next” about 20 times on safaris google search results. Those comments were like these, not a twitter conversation or in response to an article about side effects, but comments on some obscure mommy blog for people with migraines. It was luck that I found other people that had the same response I did and made me realize I wasn’t crazy. The “sensors” didn’t hatch that chat in time, but when I went back a few days later to show someone, I could not find it again, so they caught on. I understand why people felt nervous if everyone didn’t fall in line and work together to fight this virus, the problem I have is that because of that singular goal, those of us reaching out for help or trying to help others to consider the risks before blindly jumping in to save them from the misery some of us will suffer with the rest of our lives. The arrogance and stubbornness is the real threat. Telling someone who is stuck living with these side effects that “well circumstances changed and we had to make decisions with the information we had” is just another slap in the face because some of us were screaming into the void with the information that could have helped prevent this suffering in others! Just because you refused to listen, doesn’t meant the information wasn’t there. How about, a simple “I’m sorry” without a “but”. That is something that could show this tragic mistake won’t happen again?
