What I find astonishing and awe-inspiring is Bernie's incredible resolve and resilience. America led the world to the Moon and is entirely capable of leading the greening of the world. The fossil fuel industry has been told for decades that their industry is doomed and, effectively, that they must have an exit strategy that will provide them with another green source of revenue. It's not as if they have not had enough money to stash away for this kind of inevitable structural shift. Did they really think that business is all about profit taking rather than profit making? The great industrialists and entrepreneurs of the past would despair at the dead-handed zombies presently posing as the captains of American industry.

It only takes a bit more than half a million a year to reach that goal and there are a myriad of ways to do it that dont involve ultra high risk investments like trying to have the perfect stock market portfolio, for you to have a million dollars to invest to even get started.
