Woah, this will be a rant... I'm just a fan, from Germany btw... To me Nick Curran personified the defeat of genre and someone who characterwise grew with the medium of the web 2.0... he grew into it. So, given that he a certain early age got bitten by the bug he most certainly spent countless hours checking out archaic clips, b-sides and what not. That is the good side of this medium, He blended, digested and transcended. checkout the plate on his guitar, style2themax. drummings perfect btw.

First song is good....but the second is VERY nice. Drummer shows he can play straight too. No BS here just heartfelt music. Refreshing isn't it?!......

Never heard anybody that could nail that early Jimmie Lee Vaughan vibe like that.
@davestephens8033 Жыл бұрын
Except Jimmy Vaughan's style was a direct copy of a much much earlier black bluesman's style. I forgor the name of who it was.
@arihautala224 Жыл бұрын
@@davestephens8033 interesting ,, now who was it?
@davestephens8033 Жыл бұрын
@@arihautala224 I don't remember, and it was some famous black blues guy not so commonly known. Wish I could remember but it was years ago. Nothing new though. SRV was a Hendrix clone and an Albert King clone.

Blues with the tag on! Shame I never got to see him, he had serious fire.
@harryduck14 жыл бұрын
some badass drumming right there!
@crazygeorge5317 жыл бұрын
That tag on the guitar reminds me of Minnie Pearl. Yeah, good analogy Nick Curran is to the blues guitar what Minnie Pearl was to the old lady hillbilly hat. They both kick ass in their own way.

Hey didn't Ronnie James play with Little Charlie and the Nightcats? Nick rocks. Saw him with Ronnie Dawson in the mid 90's then saw him with Kim Lenz in '99...I believe...Superb musician all of them.

When i saw him in 2000, i thought he told me he was 17.... he sure didnt look 22 then... he looked 15... So we'll rename it the under 30 category then....
