Remember waking up at 8:50 every Saturday, get a wash and changed within 10 minutes, sit on the floor in front of the TV, mi mum bringing my cereal to me and then when it finished it was time to go shopping. I was 4 at the time now I'm 23. I wish there was a time machine to go back :(.

Ah 'the good old days'! Getting up early on a Saturday morning. Going downstairs and pressing the nice big clunky button on the TV to turn it on, getting comfy on the sofa watching CBBC before the parents got up and chucked me a bowl of cereal. Quick soldiers wash in the bathroom before going to knock on for your mates and spending the day climbing over walls, playing kerby, making go-carts, playing knock a door run, only nipping inside, much to the parents annoyance, to chug a glass of water every now and then ("ARE YOU IN OR OUT?!"). At the end of a busy day's play, getting in to a a proper 90s tea (usually including something from the freezer and beans) before settling down for an evening of Knight Rider, Gladiators, Beadle's About, You Bet and Blind Date. RIP The 90's - Forever in our hearts and memories!

Nostalgia is a wonderful thing. It makes me sad that there isn't any quality kids programming like this anymore; Saturday morning cartoons used to be the best thing in the world. The 90s rocked!! Also- How has Andi Peters not aged a day in 23 years? Seen him on TV recently, and his face is every bit as youthful as it was back in '94.

This episode was before The New Adventures of Superman used to be on right before Live & Kicking started at 9.15. I remember then having to get up even earlier then to see the Racoons whn Superman started. I miss the 90s. Best Saturday mornings ever!! I feel sorry for people born after 95/96 who missed out on all the greatness of 80s/90s kids TV, especially BBC Saturday morning TV! I was well lucky coz I was a overlapper (born 82) so I got Going Live! and Live & Kicking!!

What do kids watch today? I've just looked at the schedules and at 11am Sat morning there's some cookery programme with James Martin - wow cookery, just what every nine-year-old wants to watch. What the fuck has happened to the BBC, they're supposed to be a public service broadcaster?! I miss the 90s

Doesn't sound right, without Mitch doing the lineup voiceover. Ratz was an underrated character. Really impressive live CG animation, for the day. Used to like the Rat Run game, can't remember if that was on L&K or CBBC summer mornings.

One thing I'm not sure about is during the Trevor and Simon bit is if the lorry in the background flashing his lights and beeping his horn is actually part of the skit, or someone they were holding up! The reaction of Trev & Simon and the presenters makes me think it's the latter!

Because torrenting wasn't really a thing back when this aired. Very few people had internet access and even so, dial-up connections were so slow that they simply didn't facilitate a culture of file-sharing, certainly not extended video files. And I don't imagine these were ever released on any home video format so the only way full episodes might show up online would be if somebody recorded them on VHS back in the day for some reason and had never recorded over them, lost them or thrown them away. And they'd have to have the impetus to bother transferring and uploading them.

CBBC is in need of a serious revamp, and bring back some of it's past to go forward again. Like previous posts have mentioned, Saturday morning tv for children nowadays is terrible. What it needs is a live tv show like (Live&Kicking/ Saturday Show) from 9am-11:30am with music performances/ studio games and a large live audience. Before 9am, good classic cartoons like the racoons, tom & jerry would be great.

I miss em too, ITV hasn't really done anything for kids saturday morning tv since ministry of mayhem finished. And BBC just don't sem to really care anymore (Dick n Dom axed and replaced by the fail that was TMI which is now dead i belive) Ant and Dec shouldn't have left SM:TV live

@thepod96 I have watched TMI and I do think it's reasonably funny, and I love Sam and Mark. However it's a small, tight studio with no audience, and is a different kind of show to a typical saturday morning show such as l&k / SMTV Live/ Saturday Show/ Ministry of Mayhem. This is the kind of show cbbc need to reintroduce, with a large studio, big audience, music performances and fun games.

I remember John Barrowman messing up saying he used to play “BB Ball” as a kid growing up in the states. Err I think you mean B Ball John?? Basketball was called B Ball. Obviously his gay ass had misheard some other guy say it while he was staring at men playing basketball one day.
