Hi Kimberly, when I was in college I hated the color royal blue so I forced myself to use it a bit in my art projects. You should throw in some of those (gasp!) purples to spice things up! Or you can send them my way with my next FQ shop order!

I like your Kona blocks better than the pattern's block. Great adaptation. You could make a pillowcase using the Tula Pink Roar. Always like seeing what new fabric has come in. I'm a Halloween fan so I made a note of all those new collections.

Have you thought about turning your (I think they were 2" squares) into the Scrappy Crossroads Quilt from p78 in the Scappiness is Happiness book by Lori Holt? I love ❤️ that pattern, unfortunately. I haven't had time to make it. I'm so behind, but I plan on making a quilt from Moda Blockhead for next year's donation to the American Legion fundraiser. I love your videos about your plans! And where you are now, so fun. I think it is unusual to find someone who does not like purple! I have friends who adore purple. I like how you tell it like it is though for you. I also like that you mentioned you hate Halloween because I hate it also. I like fall, pumpkins leaves even scarecrows are fine for fall but cannot stand the occult part of Halloween.

Ok I have to ask this… why are you SO down on purple? You said your mom loves purple. It’s so negative to all the purple lovers. I have a friend who is down on pink. All I hear is how she has to replace the pink. All the colors look SO GOOD together. They complement each other. Ok IMHO. I love your quilts and cross stitch and I really want to know when you sleep?
